I signed up for a trial membership at $4.95. Then, Seeking Alpha charged my credit card $299 for a year subscription without my authorization. When I asked them to reimburse my card they were dismissive and said they could not cancel. Taking advantage of me sets a poor indication of this business. I have lost complete trust in Seeking Alpha and will never use their service again.

I joined on 25th February and find SeekingAlpha very unresponsive. I wrote first expressing concern that many of my stocks and ETF's were not on their system. I subsequently wrote requesting cancellation. I still have received no response with the 30 day refund period coming to an end. I don't think this tool is suitable for European investors.

Saroj was very responsive, professional, and made a real effort to understand my situation and resolve the issue. I really appreciate the support and the final resolution.

Seeking Alpha, overall, is very good. I used Seeking Alpha's Alpha Picks service, and it works very very well. The only issue, and it's a big one, is that their returns are overstated. The reason.... on about 50% of their picks, the stock gaps up 5% to 10% in the very first second which prevents the customer from buying the pick at the price listed on the website. Alpha Picks uses that "buy" prices as the basis for their return calculation. So, over the long haul, your realistic buy price on many of the stocks degrades the overall 277% advertised return by quite a lot. I begged them to change this but decided to eliminate my subscription accordingly. The only way they will fix the matter is if more folks complain and write about it in public.

what i wrote them
the information you maintain is GREAT - but not so your forums because
1. you allow fake names which mean no one takes responsibility for what they say
2. You censor comments. If someone has recommended the same stock 15 times over the past few years but it keeps declining. people should be able to point that out
Im in some large investments groups mos

I've used Seeking Alpha for several years. They've provided exceptional information and insights for my investment portfolio. I believe their layout and information beats many of the other services out there. Their customer service has been exceptional. Sakshi, the rep that assisted me, went out of his way to help, this ment a lot.

Sakshi who has become in charge of my issue has not gotten back to me. I have sent a follow-up message a day before, still no reply. My previous agent was good but not Sakshi.

the interaction with the rep was excellent. My criticism is the response time was too slow. You need to institute a chat capability
