After having absolutely no luck with a wedding dress in stores, I bit the bullet and ordered the Ivory Queen of Angels gown. A big risk with my wedding so soon but I was hoping for a high reward after being so unlucky.

Delivery to the UK: was shipped and delivered in the time frame suggested online. This is why I gave them 2 stars.

Quality: incredibly poor for the price, the back of the dress is see through. There is an odd number of bustle loops, for the amount of bustle buttons. A bustle loop also arrived broken. I have recieved better quality items from Shein for a tenth of the price..

Customer service: non-existent, I have sent several emails from ordering to post delivery and have not recieved a single response.

I would never recommend anyone from overseas order from Selkie. It might be different if you can go into their store, but online my experience has been shocking. It just added to the awful experience I have had shopping for a wedding dress.

I reached out to the CS team with a complex sizing question and the rep really took her time to go back and forth with me to make sure all my options and questions were answered. Between this and the return and exchange policy I feel super confident taking the plunge !

The price on their website is exclusive of taxes and transportation fées you End up paying 50% more what you ordered without cancellation possibilities. They are crooks.
They are a cheap chinese manufacturer who is not respecting the european Law

I was so excited to order my first two Selkie garments, they took about a month to arrive and I was filled with anticipation the entire time. I was devastated when I opened my package to discover someone had stolen my dress and sweater, replaced them with someone else's mail and taped it back up to be delivered to my home. I filed a claim with USPS but was doubtful they would help and reached out to the Selkie customer service team, expecting nothing as I did not purchase package protection and was forthcoming about that. However I was blown away by the kindness and understanding demonstrated by Summer and everyone else who helped me. My email was answered right away and they made me feel like they were on the case to resolve the issue. That meant a lot considering how much of my money could have been lost and how coveted and hard to obtain these beautiful pieces are. The Selkie team ultimately gave me a refund for one of my items which was out of stock and resent me the other one. I am just beyond blown away with their customer service and empathy. Its so rare in this modern corporate dominated age. Thank you, this really was such a meaningful interaction. I will absolutely be purchasing more Selkie (with package protection!!)

I've done exchanges with Selkie twice now, and both times were made so much easier with the help of Selkie's customer support. It doesn't feel like I'm emailing a company; it feels like I'm talking with a trusted friend. You can tell that associates like Summer honestly care about their customers and their products.

The customer service I received was thoughtful, informative, friendly, and prompt! I really appreciated how they took the time to source the length of the gown I was inquiring about, and they informed me exactly what seam they were measuring from, too. Items ordered come in a rather timely manner. I'm so impressed with they styles and quality. Returns are easy if/when needed. Customer service chats are super responsive, friendly and any questions/concerns are taken care of. Fantastic!!! I've ordered approximately 20 pieces (at different times) thus far and I have yet to be disappointed. I'm an artist and stylist so friends/people in general expect me to "bring it" whenever I step out. Selkie has brought a whole different vibe to how I style some of my looks. I'm not necessarily going out in head-to-toe Selkie but what great pieces they have to create unique looks.
I keep coming back for more ;-)

Exceptional Customer Service! I was a couple days behind the return window and reached out to them. Product was unworn with tags on it. Without hesititation they allowed me to return the item and reopened the portal for me. Item was beautiful and great quality!

The problem was solved and the attention received was as expected, polite and proactive.
