I would like to praise a trainee assistant in your Dungannon branch for her advice and knowledge on your available perfumes. Her name badge was Lina (trainee) and she had a foreign accent. She is the most pleasant, helpful and patient shop assistant I have had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. I bought perfume which was on special offer. I cannot praise this girl highly enough.

Staff are always very courteous and helpful. Prices excellent. Only complaint is that when paying for goods, staff try to push sales (presumably this is policy) by making customers aware of special offers!

The Semichem shop in Fraserburgh has lovely staff and are always very helpful. the shop stocks a big range of items and would recommend who has not tried Semichem to do so

Having bought a 12 Andrex toilet roll pack for £3.99 I was given a voucher which entitled me to £2 off my next purchase so I bought another three packs (36 rolls) for £9.97 - a great bargain. Cheaper than the supermarkets. Staff are always friendly (Blairgowrie Perthshire store)

Bought a Calum Best Original 100ml EDT Gift Set I'd just seen in the local Branch thought it would do for casual use. The aftershave had no scent whatsoever and the shower gel was totally unusable, it was basically just thick gunge which would not lather at all. I contacted semichem and after several weeks they responded thanking me for letting them know and informing me they would contact their supplier but no mention of replacing the faulty/compromised product. I made a subsequent follow up complaint such my disgust at the tone of their email and lack of apology from Ms Sophie L but they totally ignored this altogether and seem to think this is the way to treat customers. I am now in the process of contacting Trading Standards and the BBC watchdog Teams. I used to enjoy going into semichem but just recently the quality of their products has fallen dramatically. I have had several instances where Sure Deodorant purchased from their store have come with faulty spraying mechanisms. Are they buying cheap or faulty products and passing them off as bona fide merchandise. To the people who have posted the positive feedback thats fair enough but just wait and it will happen but eventually you will buy something and the quality of it will fall well below what is expected. Contact semichem at your peril, they ignore you......awful Customer Service...Shoddy Company...

Went in to buy a gift and was served by Carol and Anna who were a fantastic help from start to finish

I shop here regularly for candles and toiletries prices are allways resonable staff are always willing to go out their way to help me find goods. on the shelves.

Staff are always friendly and helpful even when hands are full they put stock down to open door for customers with buggies, trolleys or elderly.Nothing is to much trouble ,keep up the excellent service.

I always shop in Semichem when I'm in Hawick and I nearly always end up leaving with more than was on my list as there are so many bargains to be had. The manageress Louise always has a smile for her customers and never makes me feel like I'm being a nuisance if I ask for assistance even when she is obviously busy. All the staff are happy and helpful and obviously enjoy their jobs which creates a wonderful atmosphere. My only gripe is that many of my regular purchases are no longer sold by Semichem so I am forced to go elsewhere for some items. Overall a great little shop and all the staff are a credit to your company, keep up the good work

was just out and about shopping in hamilton and poped in to semichem for a look around the store was bright and clean in the end spent £50 on lots of stuff staff we helpfully and happy to help

Ordered some suntan lotion in January & paid for it with Paypal. Suddenly realised it hadn't arrived. Looked at site and it said payment was 'pending' This was not true as the money had been transferred weeks before. contacted them to be told some sort of technical issue. As I was going abroad soon I asked for it to be sent first class. Unbelievably, they said they couldn't do this as they had no facility to send first class! Obviously a walk to the Post Office too much trouble. Would never recommend dealing with this company as customer service is non-existent.

I placed a large order with this company online thinking it would be with me within 3-5 working days as stated in their delivery information, God was i wrong.

3 working days after my order was placed i was informed my account had been refunded, with no information on what exactly they were refunding me for. So I emailed customer service to find one of the items was no longer available, the rest of my order had been dispatched.... Apparently.

Another 2 days go by and yet another refund added to my account meaning my order was not dispatched that day like i was told. Over a week later and i am still unsure as to wether my orders have been dispatched. The communication and customer service is non existent.

I will never use these services again, untrustworthy and stressful to say the least.

I must disagree with the previous reviews. I have bought from Semichem online on a number of occasions and the items have arrived promptly. I recently ordered some sun tan lotion which arrived 2 days before I was going on holiday. My fault I was late in ordering it. They sent the wrong factor. I contacted them and they immediately sent out the correct one which I received in time for my hols. Can't praise them enough for this.
