We're setting up a store in an industry that's relatively new to us. Naturally, we wanted to be able to cover all bases in terms of building the Best Customer Experience.
To be honest, It seemed quite a challenge initially. However, Andy gave me a call to ask if we needed help setting up to which I said yes! He set up a call with Ben to help go through the Step By Step Setup Processes (with preferred couriers), answering our questions as well as being honest about which parts don't need to be dealt with by Sendcloud (to prevent unnecessary steps)
Ben and Andy were instrumental in helping us keep the solutions simple for both the customer and the warehouse team.
Now I can't wait to go and test out the Checkout / Till Scenarios.

Warning: The insurance provided to n SendCloud by XCover is a complete scam.
I’ve been loosing thousands of euros worth of products that arrived damaged or got lost. Every single time SendCloud/XCover have an excuse in order not to pay the damage.
Please do not make my mistake and do yourself a favor, look for another shipping service.

Unauthorized Transactions and Lack of Response
I have been addressing this issue directly with SendCloud's top management and founders since January 11, 2025 (96 days):
Funds were withdrawn from my company's bank account in Germany without my knowledge or consent. I have never registered on their platform or used their services.
I contacted their customer support team, but their responses were unclear, and the issue remains unresolved. They claim they cannot locate any information about me or my company, even though they suggest there might be a connection involving my account ("To move forward with your request, we need to verify your identity within our system. Therefore, we kindly ask you to provide details of the services you have received from Sendcloud or clarify how you are associated with the account that uses the reported bank account. This will allow us to confirm your identity and lawfully proceed with your access request").
It all feels like Chapter XXII by Joseph Heller to me.
I am requesting immediate removal of the unauthorized link and a refund of the funds that were withdrawn without my approval. I am willing to cooperate and provide necessary information to resolve this issue.

Poor and Overpriced Services
Our experience with Sendcloud has been frustrating and disappointing. We initially had a contract that did not reflect our current shipping volumes, and despite numerous attempts to renegotiate, we were locked into an overpriced agreement that did not match our needs.
Customer support was slow, unhelpful, and dismissive. Instead of offering real solutions, they pushed us to create a completely new account, disregarding the operational challenges and API integrations we already had in place. Other service providers allow simple account updates, but Sendcloud refuses, making things unnecessarily difficult.
Billing issues were another major problem. We were invoiced for incorrect amounts, had to chase refunds, and were charged for services we barely used. Even after agreeing to downgrade, we were hit with extra per-label charges, making the new plan just as expensive. It feels like a deliberate strategy to overcharge businesses rather than providing fair and transparent pricing.
For anyone considering Sendcloud, I strongly recommend looking for an alternative provider with better flexibility, fairer pricing, and more responsive customer support.
As long as things go well
As long as things go well, it goes well. However, when there is an issue on payments or lost packages, it takes forever. I accidentally made a double payment in January on an invoice, and still did not get a refund. They keep mentioning there is a backlash in the financial department, and ask to be patient. We are almost March now. Their invoices keep coming in, but a refund has not been made upon till this day.

SendCloud is a great solution and saves us plenty of time!
The new features are great: the integrated insurance option, the new interface, and finally the WooCommerce integration V2.
I just wish they had more Shipping Rules available in the plans.

As long as everything goes well...
As long as everything goes well, no issue. But As soon as there is an issue it is absolutely ZERO. I was wrongly surcharged by PostNL in Holland and they even agreed that it must have been a mistake. Yet they could not process my issue and PostNL asked me to do it through Soundcloud. Sendclud was abysmal: they did not even understand the product form PostNL, they stonewalled me and did not represent my legitimate complaint. I never used them ever since.

Absolutely disgusting service from Sendcloud. They charge you what they like and added another £10 on. I payed there disgraceful invoice this morning. Parcels get lost and they take no responsibility for it whatsoever. They don't compensate when things go wrong. I would give zero star if I could.
