I have NEVER been LIED too by so many…

I have NEVER been LIED too by so many employees!!! I don't know if they just didn't know or intentionally LIED to me!on 9/9/2024 our ac stopped working.( i told them I was handicapped and had to use either a walker or a wheelchair. I also get nauseaus from the heat! The house was 85 degrees) I was told they would send someone between 8pm & midnight and I would get a confirmation e-mail.I DIDN'T. I called back, then I was told they couldn't find anyone to come out. even though they advertise 24/7 repairs! Then I was told we would be the 1st repair in the morning.another LIE!! I called at 9am only to be told that they had JUST gotten an e=mail asking us to be put on the schedule. I was LIVID!!! It continued on from there with one lie after the other!!! The repair people FINALLY showed up at 1;15pm!!! When they were finally done they hit us with a large repair bill when we were told when purchasing the maintinance contract that repairs were INCLUDED!!! My husband had to turn our car air conditioner on, and I had to sit in the car for several hours to cool down.
I have NEVER been treated like this and having stage 4 bone cancer...... I will NEVER use this company again!!! I recommend NO ONE EVER USE SERVICE EXPERTS again and read the fine print in your contract because they AREN'T REPUTABLE OR HONEST!!!!!

Didn't put gas in new unit and refused to come and fix it same day.

I live in Blacksburg VA and had this company out of Roanoke installed a new unit today. The installers seemed to be very nice, even gave them a tip. We where told after the instal that everything checked out, and waited for the gas to build up, may take a couple hours. A couple hours passed and no cool air, so I called the customer support and asked why this wasn't working at three pm this afternoon, they sent the on call technician out after another hour passed. When he showed up he said there was no gas in it. He didn't have gas on hand and said it will be tomorrow before they can have someone to fill it. They promised in the contract, that installation would be completed same day. Been lied to several times up to 11 pm that they would have some one out between 4pm to eight pm. No one showed , so they broke there contract with us. So now I told them tomorrow no one better show up to my property to fill it, I want it removed and I'll go with a more trust worthy company. Unbelievable!

Scammers.

Well I am an elderly woman living alone and had HVAC die on July 4, 2021. I called a local company Midway Services who sent out someone on July 5. Great, right?

Well they also sent a smarmy salesman who sold me an HVAC unit and the water heater for a "bundle price". What he also sold me and said, it included a "service contract" for future services. I thought that to be a good deal.

About 6 months later I wanted to know more about this "contract" and asked to be given the particulars about the payment plan. I was told by Midway Services and by Service Experts that they WOULD NOT GIVE ME THAT BREAKDOWN.

I filed a complaint with the County of Pinellas but was told the same thing .. Service Experts and Midway would not reveal such information!

I let it go for a while ... but if I have paid $233.25 INCLUDING SALES TAX OF 15.26 per month since August of 2021 what is the distribution of this money?

Now I wish to sell my condo and asked about ending the service contract and paying off the purchase of equipment. I called Service Advantage and they said they would provide a payof figure. When I asked about whether the monthly payments (including "sales tax") were appllied to the equipment they said no, the monthly payments were for service only and I should talk to Midway Services for that information.

Well I called Midway Services only to be told I should speak to Service Experts for payment information!

Talk about given the run around! I will have to file a complaint with the State of Florida now .. as no satisfaction at local level.

Unfortunately, I cannot give them a lower star...

NEVER EVER contact this company. You would do well to heed my warning. When I called them, I just wanted a quieter fan for my furnace. While they were replacing the fan, they mentioned that my ac unit coolant was no longer made, and sold me a unit...worst mistake I have ever made in my life. The unit has never worked, I was sold a piece of trash.

I asked them to repair it and they just keep finding problems with a unit that never ran more than a few short days. No repairs have been completed on it. Now I am facing a 10000 dollar replacement for another unit...the unit has only been there for about 1 year which never worked...and the fan I had them install for nothing more than personal comfort...IS LOUDER than it ever was before. Don't waste your time contacting them. Save yourselves. Find another company, ANY OTHER COMPANY. I wrote about my poor experience to save you from suffering. Heed it.

(I was forced to give them 1 star.)

Service Experts AC - AC stands for All Crooks

We called the Boca Raton division of Service Experts, and had them in to look at an AC unit which froze over. Within minutes, they were trying to sell my daughter (the occupant) a completely new system “for ONLY” $200 per month for the next 119 months. If we wanted, they could also supply us with a water heater for another $50 per month for the next 119 months. After they left, we called in another company, and they asked us why we left out the disconnects both inside and outside. Was this forgetfulness or sabotage. The salesman, Jose Chapaprieta, is simply a business predator.

Beware low call out costs and very very high parts costs

This company in Florida turned up to fix a fault on the central air system. They were charging only $40 for the call out - which I thought was reasonable - but I should have wondered why.

The answer came when the fix was identified. $40 for call out, $100 for diagnosis and $610 for parts that are available on Amazon for about $40. Obviously that's where they make their money, when you are at your most vulnerable having waited for them to turn up, and finally offering a fix. Take it or leave it they say.

This company is a rip off

I used this company only because I got a mail solicited coupon for a $69.00 tuneup
on my dual stage system,I wouldn’t even have rated them as 1 if it wasn’t that you have to do too began the review. They arrived with two technicians to perform this tuneup, but soon found out why. One is a sales person whom like a car dealerships who gives recommendations to drum up profit.while 1representive is proforming the other is saling you a warranty to have your system service twice for the year and if repairs are needed during that time, you get a discount and wouldn’t have to pay for trip
fee even if weekend or holidays.By the time the other technician finishes performing the tuneup I was in need of a part that might stop the HVAC system from performing. I agreed to take the warranty, but wanted to pay for it up front
instead of the monthly installments they were offering,The tech Alex then said I would not get the discount if I did it this way.should have been my clue not use this company.when I asked why that would be a problem? He gaslighted and into a part, I have this relatively new HVAC serviced every year, and had it done just 4 months ago with no problems
But I took the warranty and asked if they were going to leave the part
that was being replaced for examination.
Which he didn’t have available and would
follow up after he got the part.which never
happened,I think it was because the part I
asked be left behind. However the following month on Christmas Eve the blower on the heater stopped. But because I gotten the warranty on Nov.11th just a little over a month ago, I called Service Experts, same sales rep.arrived with technician.long story shorten, this Rep Alex refused to honor the
warranty terms, demanded I pay the bill for
trip and tried to sale a full board system for a 8yro heater. Also told me a heater only lasted 8-10 yrs.and shut down the heater altogether. I was livid and told him I
was not going to pay him anything that is
covered under written contract, and especially since they were not servicing to
have my home heated, his response was the terms changed what company uses these tactics to gain profits! I have contacted their main offices in Texas, also uses Eveready service Experts. And upon having another contractor service heater it
didn’t need a computer board, gas valve was installed and this made for full remedy. I never received my money for warranty or return call from their company
heads.stay away from that Red white & blue emblem with Sevice Experts or
Eveready service Experts !!

This company came out to look at our…

This company came out to look at our furnace 2 years ago when there was a ton of snow. I'm still angry at the horrible service, being overcharged and lack of follow up from this company. The repair guy was rude, we knew what the issue was when we called (there was a code) the service fee was supposed to be $99, we were hoping for a repair. We were charged an additional $78 for "Fault location". The rep would not explain why we were charged this above and beyond the service fee (he was at our home for less than 15 min) and when my husband got mad and asked for a business card, he refused, so we don't even know his name. I had to write him a check at that time (there was no repair, the quote was quite high for a part we ordered for $15) and he didn't provide a receipt. I had to call and request one, it took 2 months to get. To leave a review on their site you have to have a "code" from the receipt. There was no code provided. I followed up asking for a code and an explanation of the extra $78 fee, I received no response. My daughter just told me about Trustpilot so I'm leaving my review here to ensure others are warned of this company!

Beware of "Service Experts Comfort…

Beware of "Service Experts Comfort Masters" in Wheeling, Illinois. This HVAC company did a terrible installation of my dual-stage Lennox furnace. The many defective furnace parts leaked water because they were installed improperly and cracked. Now they do nothing to replace my rusted under-warranty furnace. They do poor service, do not honor their ten-year warranty, try to sell you a useless over priced maintenance plan to make a profit, charge you for parts/labor that is under warranty, stand you up for scheduled appointments, and do not return calls. Stay far away from Service Experts. Do not trust them.
