Top notch customer service!!!! There are a few basic functions within the platform that should be adjusted (i.e. emailing consent forms to both parents of minors, allowing email updates without customer service). HOWEVER, the services provided for the amount that you pay is well worth it since their customer service responds so quickly. I get a response within minutes to a few hours, which is better than other EHR's.
As a solo clinician, this is simple and efficient for my practice. I've tried platforms that provide all the bells and whistles and it just wasn't worth the money in the long term. Sessions is just what I need!

I love this tool and am so relieved and grateful to have an alternative to SP. My one disappointment WAS being unable to schedule clients every four weeks. The Sessions team was very responsive, though, addressing this need within a few weeks. I am so impressed with this service.

After getting price-gouged by SimplePractice, I thoroughly researched alternative EHR's, landed on Sessions Health, and actually like it better. It does everything I need it to do in a simple, intuitive format and is much more sensibly priced since it does not force me into bundling EHR with marketing, video conferencing, and other services I already have and don't need. My data migration was lightening-quick (10 minutes) and relatively seamless, and tech support was remarkably helpful and responsive. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the new industry standard.

I looked at a TON of EMRs when I was starting my Private Practice and settled on Sessions Health for a few reasons.
1. It was the only one (at least at the time) that was designed to be trans-friendly. Instead of "Preferred Name" and "Legal Name" it has "Name" and "Legal name." There is an option to not request sex assigned at birth (if you're not using insurance, you don't need that information). And correct name shows up in all the back-end paperwork so that I, as the therapist, am not seeing my client's dead-name over and over.
2. It is simple and user-friendly. I have found the design to be super intuitive. It is a clean, simple interface and just makes sense to me.
Since I began my paid subscription, I have had no regrets. They are constantly adding useful new features, they respond quickly to any questions or suggestions and you can tell you're communicating with a person who knows the program and uses it themself.
I would highly recommend Sessions Health to anyone.
