Very helpful when there were discrepancies btw my brokerage account and Sharesight Portfolio. Corrected and advice given to keep up to date automatically in future. Super friendly and prompt service, and I am only on the free plan.
Definitely recommend!

Easy to use and accurate

Best way to keep track of all your investments across multiple brokers, accounts, countries and currencies. As executor of my grandfathers estate I also used it to report his buying and selling of shares from the last 50 years and build really complex CGT reports for tax filing.

I have been using it for a year plus now.

Good
- Easy to use interface
- Brokerage downloads work very well
- Automatic dividend tracking
- Robust reporting options

Needs work:
- Lot identification on sales
- (As a US user) Sector and Industry grouping on reports not aligned with similar S&P/US groupings
- Contribution analysis report needs a percentage column (includes $ impact only)
- Add alternatives to heatmap display, e.g., other graphs/charts similar to those found on Excel

Overall: 4.5 stars out of 5. A highly useful tool

I really like the interface and how powerful it is. My biggest complaint is the performance reports. I work with fund managers and they all present their performance as bar charts against the index, accompanied by a table....performance for the period, benchmark then alpha. I would also really like a simple line chart that shows the growth in the value of my portfolio too. There doesn't seem to be much thought in the performance reports as they are now. Otherwise, I like it for now!

I find that using sharesight helps me track my investments as well as providing me with information as to how my investment will provide a monthly income in the future.

I have been using Sharesight for several years now and will continue. It makes planning and reviewing your trading plan easy with the range of reports to generate. These reports also keep the accountant happy, end of year download the report and email off. Confirming dividends is effortless. Overall my portfolio with Sharesight gives me peace of mind and I am easily in control with meaningful information.

As a private investor I've been looking for a portfolio management platform that would allow me to get away from the portfolio administration I did in excel. About a year ago, I started using Sharesight.

After a year of use, I can only put one word to the experience: Wonderful!

Sharesight has helped me to administrate my portfolio (with a number of Wealth Management platforms) in a very easy fashion. The automated trade integration works many Wealth Management Platforms. Calculating Capital Gains was a nightmare in Excel. With Sharesight it is so easy. The same applies for Dividend Income.

All in all, a great experience. I hope many will subscribe to Sharesight UK services. Selfish as my only worry at this point in time is whether Sharesight can make the financials work for them in the UK.

I have been using sharesight for a while now, I'm very pleased with the platform. I'm able to track my dividend growth portfolio really easily, the site is easy to navigate and great value for money.

Very user Friendly

Sharesight was not available to fix my problem on Saturday or Sunday.
I had to wait until monday, then the help was good, maybe a little slow!

Really helped me out at tax time. Best portfolio tracker by far.

Sharepoint is one of the very few platforms that will integrate multiple accounts, currencies and investment accounts and do it well. One can track and report accounts separately, or combine for a full portfolio view. My wishes for improvement include: more real-time trade and price support for Canadian securities and brokerages, and more flexibility for custom formatting of performance reports.

Sharesight has been a revelation for me. I needed software to process transactions from multiple Brokers and provide flexible reporting of my Portfolio performance against market indices. It does this perfectly (for me). I buy a lot of US shares from the UK - it handles the FX transparently. The ability to create sub-portfolios and custom groupings allows powerful slicing/dicing of performance. The 2 things I would stubble without are my iPhone and Sharesight.

Sharesight is a great product for tracking your shares, the automation of contract notes, data feed into Xero, is all seemless and save you a lot of time tracking your investments.

Quick quick quick responses and very clear directions to solve my problem. Piumi is great.

The reports are returning multiple errors. I have tried to contact customer service but they are not interested. Any software for taxation that introduces errors is useless. Moreover, customer service is so awful. do not use.

I’ve since found out that many of the errors are due to the fact that Sharesight software cannot handle fractional share transactions. (What!?) This is something they should fix and be ultra up front about in their blurbs of what it can and can’t do. If they don’t fix this they remain in the AMATEUR pile.

Roshan was extremely helpful, the courteously and patience it took to explain in detail to me today was fantastic.

Customer support is not just bad, it's non existent. I'm trying to get some help from customer support for a simple issue that requires their involvement (can't be done myself) but despite several attempts over many months no one is replying. In desperation I complained and got a reply, but then ghosted again. You're on your own if you get stuck, beware!
