Private shared ownership seller.
Outstanding service from Lucy and the team at Share to Buy. We are a private seller, selling our 25% share of our property and over the course of our 3 month listing we had over 30 enquiries, multiple viewings and 4 offers to submit to our housing association. The listing process is straightforward with the team happy to make any changes requested. It is also excellent value for money as we had no need to register with an estate agent to market our property. I would highly recommend Share to Buy to anyone looking to sell their shared ownership property.

Great option for selling a Shared…
Great option for selling a Shared Ownership property. The team at Share To Buy are quick to respond and get your advert live as soon as possible.
We had lots of enquiries straight away - our listing went live on Wednesday and we had a buyer (and several waiting) by the Saturday.
Great value and fantastic alternative to using an Estate Agent.

On Share to Buy, we have a budget calculator on each live listing which provides estimated monthly costs for that property, including rent, service charge and mortgage. However, the properties themselves are uploaded and maintained by the housing providers.
We completely understand it can be frustrating, as costs can vary based on the type of home, the share being purchased (if a Shared Ownership property) and each person’s affordability, so we would recommend speaking with both the housing provider and a financial advisor to get the most accurate breakdown of costs.

Fantastic Support
Very easy process from the beginning. We had a great support from Lucy always answering our emails really quick.

Excellent service!
I used Share to Buy to sell my house and the process was extremely quick and easy. The staff are lovely and I had a sale within a week of my listing being up with so many enquiries!

Listings not updated on there, very poor website
The website is very difficult to use. They very often dont update properties, so a house may be sold, yet its listed as available and you have to ring up the housing assoc to check if its free. I recently rang Southern Housing about one, and the woman was SO rude. If you save a property to your account you can never delete it, so youre stuck with loads of unsuitable properties. Share to buy properties are so overpriced. Often a miniscule home will be selling for the price of a 3 X larger one not under share to buy.

If your review is referring to Shared Ownership and you don’t feel this scheme is the right option for you, we also list homes available through various other tenures including First Homes, Deposit Unlock, Rent to Buy and more.
We do not build homes, organise viewings or allocate properties ourselves, instead, housing providers directly upload and update their homes on our website. However, we are sorry to hear that some of the properties you may have shown an interest in have been taken off the market.
Regarding your account, if you have saved a property that you would like to remove, you can do so by clicking on the heart icon which will remove it from your list.

Efficient, easy & great for the customer!
We've found listing with Share to Buy efficient and easy and overall have had a great experience so far, with our first couple of resales reserving within days of listing. There's also some really great content on the website for potential buyers explaining shared ownership in detail. Simran and the onboarding team have been really helpful and it was lovely to meet them face to face at an event recently. Looking forward to seeing what's to come!

Better than the old Help to Buy advertising platform
As a Housing Association who relied heavily on the Help to Buy advertising site, Share to Buy are by far the best alternative for reaching potential purchasers.
The staff always make sure you get the best from your advertising, the site is very easy to navigate and the whole experience is positive.
For anyone reading the negative reviews, Share to Buy are an advertising platform that us Housing Providers use, so if properties that are advertised are no longer available, then that is down to the provider and not Share to Buy.

Great property portal
We use Share to Buy to list our available properties, the portal is easy to use and has generated a lot of enquiries for us. This is a free to list site with lots of great information for new buyers which is super helpful.

Great service for a shared ownership seller
I was able to sell my property myself and decided to utilise the service Share To Buy offer for shared ownership leaseholders. I provided my own photos, property description etc as is expected and the turnaround time provided by STB to then market my property was excellent. There was rarely an occasion (if any) where they took more than 24 hours to respond to my email queries which for any company in my opinion is great service. Once my advert went live, I was inundated with interest and the first viewing I had ended up reserving. I still utilised the other interests I had (just to be safe) and carried out additional viewings who were all very interested to proceed if my existing buyer withdrew. I wouldn't have had access to this pool of applicants if it wasn't for the STB website which is great for finding people who want a '2nd hand' shared ownership home. Seamless process throughout, I would recommend and use their services again. Special thanks to Eve, Jemma and the team for all their help throughout the process.

Amazing experience
Very helpful staff, prompt responses to all enquiries, good visibility for our listing, lots of interest and viewings resulting in very quick sale of our flat. We also saved on estate agent fees, which made it easier for us to purchase our new home.
