Very difficult to get hold of when you…

Very difficult to get hold of when you need them. Incorrect submissions and late submissions to companies house. Delayed dealing with inland revenue resulting in penalties.. no allocations of shares and dividends accurately resulting in the need to do remedial work via second accountant which cost me a lot of money.

WARNING

WARNING.
He told me that he had created shares A and B for my partner and was allocating dividends to them for a few years. Only after I changed accountants—due to his poor service—did we discover that he had never registered shares A and B.
A similar issue occurred with my colleague, who also ended up leaving this accountant.

Professionals????

I went for a job interview at Sharpe Medical Accounting for a Business Administrator role. During the interview, once Matt realised my accounting background (almost as though he’d not read my cv prior to interviewing me) he discussed with me an accounts role within the company. He showed me a sample of their accounts and we discussed quite a lot at length
e.g what the hours would be, further studying within the role. He said he was going to send me 2 job offers over that weekend and I could think about which role I wanted to accept. I was over the moon, it was a role I was going to thrive in and was going to be great for my career.
Then, you can imagine the disappointment when I heard nothing over the weekend.
I emailed Matt and sent a text message over the following week to then be ghosted. I’d at least expect some decency to just let me know, even if Matt changed his mind, it’s just common courtesy, especially after the things he was saying to me during the interview about this role he was offering me.
What a huge let down. Just amazes me how a ‘professional’ can do this to an individual. Why would Matt offer me the chance of 2 jobs to then basically act as though it didn’t even happen. Shocking.
BULLET DODGED with Sharpe Medical Accounting.
