I tried to order a replacement ionizer wire but was told it wouldn't be available until late October. Machine can't be used without it. I now have a useless filter for 3 months. If they can't keep a vital part available they shouldn't sell more units until they can. Very disappointed.
What a terrible company now
What a terrible company now. From the junk they sell (5 items broke in weeks, 3 towel warmers, foot massager, garage parking sensor). I still have a 2 year old giftcard because their return policy is terrible. This real giftcard always gets confused with their phony giftcard they give you with your order. You can shop there but I would definitely wouldn't recommend it.
The Sharper Image deserves zero stars
The Sharper Image deserves zero stars. We tried to return an item for credit, not a refund. They resent the same item back to us 3 times. Now they are saying that it is not eligible for return, even though we spoke to someone on the phone who said it was eligible for a credit. We are now contesting the charge with our credit card company. Beware of this dishonest company that has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Terrible experience trying to return an item I attempted to cancel the same day I ordered it. Got the run around from their "customer service" for days and finally had to charge it back on my CC.
Do not consider purchasing anything from Sharper Image
I bought their Hip therapy pain…
I bought their Hip therapy pain reliever belt. I used it one time and at my second try the heat didn’t work. I tried again and again but nothing to do. I contact Sharper image and I have to send it back and pay for the shipping !!!! Bad product and terrible warranty Never buy on this site anymore.

I cancelled an order 15 minutes after accidentally purchasing. Called SI and told them to cancel shipment. They refused. I refused shipment, didn't touch the package and instead of refunding me the total they want to give me a gift card for less than what I paid for! Stay away from these scammers
Sharper Image used to be a reputable…
Sharper Image used to be a reputable brand with interesting items that while higher priced, were of a good quality. Now, they're selling the same cheap Chinese goods sold on Amazon marked up about 10 times and with a scam return policy. Throw their catalog in the trash if you get it.
Spend your money elsewhere
Normally I throw away catalogs from sharper image (and other similar companies for that matter) In this case my son happen to get the mail for me. He found what appeared to be a cool toy (monster vision) and immediately requested it for his birthday. I could tell from the add it was not going to be what he expected and tried to talk him out of it with no success. So we ordered it for his birthday. For simplicity I'm going to round numbers the end result is within pennies. First they advertise free shipping, it wasn't (scam #1). $70 for the toy $14 for shipping. When he opened and tested out the toy he immediately realized it was not what was portrayed in the catalog (scam #2) and was extremely disappointed. Begin the return process... $20 return shipping (scam #3). So all in all we are out $34 with nothing to show for it. If nothing else I guess it was a good lesson for my 11 year old on how to identify and avoid scams. Hopefully I can help others avoid the heartache and hassle by offering this review.
Poor quality and customer service
We ordered a roll-up piano for our children for Christmas, and two of the keys didn't work. We wanted to do an exchange but need to send the item back and then they will send a replacement 5-7 days after they receive it. The problem is that we ordered the piano so that we could travel with it on January 3rd. We explained this to the representative and asked them to waive express shipping. I spoke with a representative and thought she was sending a replacement -- turns out she wasn't. So now we need to pay for 1-day shipping in order to get the piano in time for our trip. They advertised free express shipping for the holidays but still charged for shipping and then provided cash back coupons to be used for merchandise. The problem is that we don't want any more of their merchandise, as the quality and customer service are both problematic. Seems like this company has really gone down hill.
My grandson spent all his birthday…
My grandson spent all his birthday money on a drone he got at walmart. The drone had a broken part on the controls. There was a big orange sticker on it said do not return to store. I first called help line. That was how I knew what was wrong. Went to customer service, filled out return form and nothing happened. I called 2 more times sending pictures. I still have a broken drone and never heard from them again. I used to like sharper image stuff. Now I will not shop sharper image again.
WHAT A BUNCH OF THIEVES
They sent the wrong items. They are charging $19.95 in return shipping. It cost me $15.95 to have it shipped to me in the first place. So I am out $35 for NOTHING. No response to my inquiry, and no Christmas presents for the intended recipients.
Neck and shoulder massager
Neck and shoulder massager. Does nothing to either, just vibrates the shoulder blades slightly. Very disappointed.
This is the worst expensive junk ever
This is the worst junk ever. The catalogue is well designed and well curated, I was super excited for a number of gifts for younger kids (8-10 years old). We opened everything on Christmas and I'm sending the lot of it back, it is absolute garbage. Cheap materials, terrible construction, hundreds of dollars for the type of toys you'd get for trading in ski ball tickets. It's so low quality and so expensive, it borders on fraud. I wouldn't pay $30 for this $300 worth of toys, and I will never spend another penny here again.
Never shoppping here again...cheap, crappy inventory
Used to be a good store. Now it's full of expensive, cheap, crappy stuff. I order something, and 10 minutes later decided to cancel. I was unable to cancel ( at most 15 min after my order) and they told me it was already processed and gearing for shipment. Almost a week later they sent it out. Weeks to issue refund and over a month for the whole ordeal.....customer service is horrible.
Unimaginable incompetence on their…
Unimaginable incompetence on their customer service and order-taking DAs. They reversed the shipping and billing address. I saw it when they sent the order confirmation email. Called CS three times and all three times they assured me the order had been corrected. It showed up in Arizona, not Illinois. Every aspect of this order and every conversation was a screw up. Never, ever buy from these fools.
I purchased a leather glove box…
I purchased a leather glove box organizer for a Christmas gift. I had it personalized according to the web catalog picture…I received the item and the initials did not look evenly printed. Many calls, chats, emails later, I was offered free shipping and 20% off of another item. I believe that if a company is in error, they should replace that product, not force the customer to spend even more money. Very disappointing.
We purchased a nail clipper from…
We purchased a nail clipper from Sharper Image. There is no way anyones nail will fits between the blades of this clipper. I even tried to use it on my grandson and 4 year old great-grandson. Nope, couldn't do it. So, I tried to return the clippers and was told it could not be returned because it's a personal item. But it doesn't work! It's never been used! So I tried calling the company. There was a really long wait and the recording offered to call me back. So I said sure. I'm still waiting for that call. We used to make frequent purchases from Sharper Image and was always pleased with the purchase. But not now. What a ripoff and they chareged us $50 for these clippers!
I would rather give zero starts or…
I would rather give zero stars or maybe even minus a few stars. I purchased a Back O Sage for back pain relief. The item arrived this week and had to be charged. On the box it has printed "One Size Fits All" but this won't even come close to fitting my 40" waist line. The belt is useless unless it will fit to your waist and I went thru the process of their online return and they state this item is not eligible for return. Wait, the box says fits all but it does not. Product has not been used because it will not fit and they say is not returnable? I will contact Pay Pal and fight this. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
Avoid at all costs, you pay for faulty products
I ordered a monocular through them that was supposed to have a cell phone attachment, within hours of ordering it I tried to cancel it due to some bad reviews I read, they said they could not cancel it even though it had not been shipped out yet. They said if I kept it they would give me 10% off and not charge me shipping. When I got it I tried to use it and the cell phone attachment continually fell off the monocular which makes the whole thing useless. I called back and they offered me a store credit for 138 and are also requiring me to pay to send it back FedEx even though they have a faulty product. They tried to read through the store credit part so fast to get one over on the consumer, I interrupted their reading a paper and told them I want my money back As I would never be ordering from them again. They charge more for objects you could get elsewhere and actually work, and now I am out over $30 for shipping costs. I will absolutely never order for this company again and hope others heed my warning before they too are taken advantage of.
Sad failure to live up to Sharper Image former quality.
the products I bought are substandard. Floor lamp, daylight with zoom lighting and travel mirror. First I received a lamp with missing parts, and after return replacement process I was sent the wrong lamp.
This used to be a reliable, customer satisfied company. I would recommend shopping elsewhere.
Return policy includes running to Fedex, paying large price to return and waiting a long time for replacements...which were not correct.
