We have been in May to Cornwall & it was very good . This time hotel, food & journey was very good but this time we have to drag our luggage ourselves to the coach without any help. One of the included trip of the package tour left early without any information. The driver was so much in rush that he left early leaving 10 passengers behind. Not only us a wheelchair user lady passenger was also like us running around. He just announced in the bus that 10 people are not coming. That was told us by the other passengers where as we never said, we are not going. He never gave any instructions about the bus stop where as most of other travel company's buses were stopping in front of the hotel. That happened when we were on a Cornwall trip & never had to bother about our luggage to bring to the coach. Also he should have given final call for the trip & also should have mentioned to the hotel reception that he was leaving when he found out that 10 passengers were missing. Reception people didn't know anything about our bus as we as well as others were running around & asking them. My husband spoke to the driver at breakfast time that we would see him in the bus & he left us & announced other passengers that we are not coming along with other 8 people. We never had this type experience with Shearings other trip to Cornwall. We were so pleased with that trip that we booked this one again . Otherwise hotel was very good, food was excellent, location was very good , trip to Windermere was nice.

Shearing are great drivers fantastic would suggest they use feeder coaches for uk tours much more room much more facilities like plugs and phone chargers in our tour voach you can’t recline seats as said it goes back into the person behinds space as I said Shearings were great but they need to vet the hotels dinner service disgusting bedrooms a disgrace smell of sewage from toilet and as a diabetic the heating in the room was horrible so hot when I asked reception to turn it down they said I would have to pay £20 deposit for a remote as they don’t supply them in the room said they would send maintenance to look never happened this made me feel ill all through my Holiday had to open windows every night woke up with bin men clattering at 05:30 come on Shearings these people will cost you business I would rather pay £100 more for a decent Hotel I hope my Wales trip in May is better as I celebrate my 70th Birthday

This was not a holiday that was value for money. Accommodation was poor, restaurant badly run, and I wouldn’t repeat this trip. The driver Micheal of our coach was excellent.

We knew that it would be a long time on the coach, however it was made longer by the fact of picking up other passengers on route, and waiting for others that hadn't been picked up from their agreed pick up points. Although we still had to make an un-scheduled stop, so that we didn't arrive too early at our hotel. Both of our drivers were very friendly and happy, which made the long journey feel shorter.

The trip was very smooth, frequent stops on the way. Neil, our driver, was brilliant, great fun, always a smile on his face and so helpful with anybody. When we went for our tram ride for the lights he brought my friends walker back to the hotel then met us with it when our journey ended. Hotel, although it needs updating and some TLC the staff made up for it. They were all so lovely and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The beds were soooo comfy, slept straight through. Trips were good, we both loved the whole holiday from beginning to end.
