Driver was exceptional. Hotel was very nice one or two minor details with the hotel that mainly the one that we could not choose what we ate in the evening.

The hotel was only average. No choice for dinner- just one item on the menu. And only one veg with it. The rooms had no tea or coffee making facilities. The coach computer broke down twice and we missed out on the chocolate factory visit during our return journey which we all were looking forward to and so no one had bought chocolate beforehand.

Pleased dinner was later at 7pm which is a good time, loved the spa area, liked that breakfast time was variable, first time will be booking again.

A wonderful hotel, the only disappointing part of the holiday was Irish Ferries, very expensive food - and they do not even serve Guiness! The tours were excellent and the driver and courier very pleasant and helpful.

Everything about this holiday was great especially the free drinks package only let down was the food at the astrid hotel been before to this hotel and it was the same then but had a great time even so.

Travel well organised, pleasant experience. Booked a twin room as I was sharing with adult son. Unfortunately, room was a double and hotel staff said they were full and couldn’t change room! Hotel breakfast good but evening meal disappointing as no choice. Good job there was a salad bar for those who didn’t like the food. Drinks vouchers good, could spend on soft drinks, beer or house wine. A lot of walking on trips so probs not suited to some. Enjoyed Ostend, Brugge, Veurne a little small but pleasant. Met some lovely people on trip.

I wouldn’t travel with Shearings again on the return journey on the feeder coach the 2 drivers were extremely rude and gave us wrong information I have already given coach no. Etc on Shearings review

Everything abiut the holiday and places we visited was lovely. The only issue was the food at the hotel, it was very difficult for anybody to have an alternative to their set menu. I am gluten free so breakfast was difficult but luckily I had taken my own bread and crackers to eat.

great holiday. interesting places. bus was very good. the two drivers did great job. hotel was pretty good and evening meals were good. There was no tea/coffee making facility in hotel room. this would have been really good to have. most hotels these days have that.

I'm glad that you found the hotel itself to be okay however, it's unfortunate to hear that you were disappointed with the evening meals that were served. I know that food can be a subjective issue and what may suit one person’s tastes may not always suit another’s, so I am sorry that your own expectations were not met.

I sincerely apologise that you felt the cost was higher due to other visits you paid for during the tour. Our itinerary outlines the included excursions for your tour and also advises of any optional excursions that may be available however, this particular tour has no optional excursions available through us.

I trust that, despite this, you enjoyed your time on tour with us.

The holiday was really good except for the relaxing drive along the flemish coast with its charming seaside resorts on the 2nd day was barely an hour. Also in the case of Burges could have done with a map along with the phone numbers of either the driver or tour guide as 1 couple got lost & ended up returning to the hotel by train while the rest of the coach party waited for them for well over an hour before returning to the hotel.

A lovely holiday with nice hotel and good driver. The only problem was on our return to Yorkshire we were kept waiting quite late at night for a car home. The first car wasn’t big enough for three passengers, the second car wouldn’t take us to where we needed to be. So finally a third car had to be called out, simply because of a lack of communication, spoiled what would have been a lovely break.

The organization was terrible me and my wife had to sit in the only two seats left on the coach from Lymm all the way to Folkestone and only got allotted seats when we reached Folkestone, coming back was not much better there were supposed to be taxis waiting for us when we arrived in Lymm but of the three taxis that were there two were going in the southport area and one to Preston, the one going to Preston would not take us as we were not on his list but took two that were going to Blackpool, that left eight of us waiting for another taxi till 10-20 this taxi then dropped two off in Wigan two in Leyland and us off in Preston before taking the last two to Blackpool and as it was raining heavily and we had no shelter it was not very nice.
