Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good and bar well stocked. Our room could have done with upgrading as it was quite dark inside. Rooms across the passage from ours had been upgraded. We enjoyed the lovely swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi . The 2 lounges were comfortable and very relaxing.The grounds of the hotel are lovely and we enjoyed a game of Petanque.

Lovely hotel and well worth it. Food was exceptional. A small menu on half board but by gum it was tasty. Swam every morning prior breakfast in the indoor pool which was delightful. Room very old but comfy and we both slept well.

The staff were great. The food was very good. The room was well appointed (though the view from it was unexciting). The comfortable lounges did, however, have a good view. Overall a very enjoyable break and great value.

Food excellent, staff great,most of hotel lovely but bathroom very poor. Heated towel rail didn't work, had to fill bath using overhead shower as taps wouldn't disconnect from shower.

My wife and I have used Shearings self drive for over 20 years. Always great value for money and clean comfortable rooms. The Pitlochry hydro has the bonus of being close to the town main St and a good size pool . The bar menu is great too!

The hotel was a little dated and the food was not good n the first night but good on the other 3 nights. Breakfasts were good. Pleasant helpful staff

Room comfortable but cracks in walls and ceiling discoloured in places. Shower poor. Towel heater in bathroom not working. Cold water in wash-hand basin poor pressure. Food and staff excellent
