I supported this creator by ordering the bird bath in
OCTOBER 2024. This will be my last purchase from any Kickstarter creater.

Paid a lot of money for the full feeder, bath, camera and stand package and never received it. Pledged my money in December 2024 and haven’t received any update on the product or when it will be shipped or IF it will be shipped. Have contacted the company at least 15 times and no response.

I was one of the very first backers of this product, and this company has completely scammed us. They promised delivery in March 2025 and have sent nothing. They vanished from all communication channels: their last Kickstarter update was April 2025, their private Facebook group has been dead for months, and hundreds of messages remain completely ignored. I filed a complaint with the BBB and received zero response. No product, no refund, yet they are still shamelessly selling on Amazon while backers are left with nothing or broken goods. Amazon won’t even let me warn other potential buyers. This company has outright stolen money from hundreds of supporters, myself included, and shows zero accountability.

This people basically stole my and hudreds of backers money.

I received the main unit but it was DOA- I need a new battery or a new unit. In addition I paid for the full $249 pledge and no communication from seller regarding DOA unit or remaining items.

Is it possible to give zero stars? I ordered the full bundle for $219 and only received the feeder. None of the advertised features of the feeder work. This was definitely a scam.

Never received my product after paying through Kickstarter website. No response from the company.

Never sent product. Backed last December for over 250 dollars and recieved nothing it's a scam

It has been almost a year since I have heard anything from this company. I haven’t received my product. This company seems like a scam. I was supposed to receive my product in March 2025.

I'll keep this short. Read the other reviews. They are scammers and if you get a product they will not stand by it. They have recreated product pages on Amazon after terrible reviews.

Supported this company by purchasing the set. Got feeder but it immediately had issues with charging and the hanging wire not being sturdy enough for the weight of the feeder with birdseed inside. Sent lots of honest and polite feedback and a replacement was mentioned by Sheggell. No replacement and no other items in the set. They stopped responding and now appear to have dragged it out so long that I can’t do a chargeback on my credit card. It’s sad this scam company will hurt support for legitimate bird feeder developers trying to get products funded on kickstarter. Shame on you, Sheggell! I hope your actions come back on you 100 fold or more.

These guys are scammers pure and simple.

If you are (un)lucky enough to even receive your order it won't function as described. However many many people never received a thing. No product, no communication, nothing.

Like many of the other people in the comment section, I backed this company on Kickstarter. Months ago, I received the birdfeeder, which fell down after one day because the strap that is holding it broke. I reached out to the creators, several times both through private messages, and then on the comments page of Kickstarter, and have never received any response. Do not trust this company. Do not buy anything from them. Even if they send you a product, don’t trust that it is actually going to work.

Sheggell is the biggest scammers. Two years ago, we paid $229 and never received any follow-up or product. Despite multiple refund requests, we never got a response. Please avoid purchasing from them — many customers have shared similar experiences of paying and never receiving what they ordered. A quick look at online reviews will show numerous complaints about their poor service and lack of integrity. Don’t waste your money — they’re only after your payment.

I went all in, like many others. Horrible response, finally got the bird feeder with an excuse about the rest coming after March. Now there is zero response from their emails. Scam. Horrible. Sadly, I will probably never back another kickstarter due to this experience

Backed this project on kickstarter and got robbed received nothing no updates no answers. Common street thugs stealing money

Like everyone else, I had to give at least one star before I could write my review.
And also like almost everyone else, I bought the whole package ($318) back in December 2024. It has been 6 MONTHS and nothing! No emails, no updates and not even a faulty device... NOTHING!
I contacted my credit company, sent them my documentation and got my FULL AMOUNT REFUNDED.
I suggest to everyone reading this to either not buy into this scam or if you did, contact your credit card company and get your money refunded before any more time passes.
Quite frankly, if they have not sent your package after a six-month wait period, it is not going to get sent!
Soon the flood gates of a class action lawsuit will have every one of the 4,000+ backers howling for their money and after legal fees are taken out there will only be crumbs left over.

I originally wrote a bad review of Sheggell but was asked to take it down sending a replacement feeder. It worked for a day then the feeder feel to ground due to strap the attaches to feeder broke....didn't test that? It doesn't work...messaged them again..absolutely full of excuses. Now almost a year later when their asking for backers. We have been ripped off....only 1 piece has been sent out...no pole, no squirrel baffle, no birdbath, and they do not even respond to their Facebook page....

I had to leave A star but not even worth that.

I am one of many many frustrated backers that have not heard a word from this sham. Radio silence since April it’s the end of June. I see a class action suit in Sheggell future. The kicker of it all yea pun intended is it’s for sale on Amazon and has been since May I believe. Do not fall for this company.
