I have recently taken up fish keeping and went to Shirley Aquatics. I am glad I did!! The staff i.e. Rosie are so friendly and helpful and the owner John is more then pleased to spend time assisting and giving advice.

I absolutely love the place, huge range of stock! Loads of fish species to coose from both coldwater, marine and tropical.

I am now and will be for many years a loyal customer.

I have been a customer at Shirley Aquatics for the best part of 10 years now. I've always found the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable and showed great care for the fish (I have a freshwater tank). The stock always looks well cared for and is fairly priced too. The selection of tanks, equipment and general fishy bits has always been very varied and the displays inspiring too. The only downside for me is that I live over an hour away so the online ordering facility has been really helpful.

I have bought several fish and various tanks from Shirley Aquatics and have always found the staff quick to help and give advice. I'm not a serious fish man but when my children wanted fish, the staff gave great advice and top tips and we all had lots of fun choosing the various things to go in the tank.

If you want fish or stuff that fish need - go to Shirley Aquatics!

I was promised a phone call back when i asked where my order was but this didn't happen. Two days later i get an email saying they were out of stock, didn't say this on their website when i ordered the sturgeon food. Once their stock arrived delivery was next day. Would have been very good if the delay had been made clear when i placed my order.

Container eventually arrived but broken with product spilling out. Phoned shirley aquatics - they will replace the container and send additional powder to make up for loss. They dealt with this immediately and am pleased with their customer relations. Delivery firm needs sorting!

Always helpful and reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend Shirley's, they are willing to go that extra mile (or many miles in Liz Cook's case).

Can't fault this company for their speed of delivery and the price of the product bought. Well worth the internet search for affordable frozen bloodworm and the comparisons done with other providers!

Ordered the nitrate remover after searching internet for cheap and reliable nitrate remover. Product was delivered when promised and in perfect package. Tried the product and was impressed. 40 ppm to 5 ppm :).. Be mindful that this also changes the PH of water. Hence its not a plug and play for most of us

The prices were very competitive and we had free delivery. The goods arrived on time in perfect order. The experience itself was perfect.

Really pleased with service as providing you information when the item(s) will be delivered.Really quick dispatch,i had my items delivered within 2 days.Only thing i would like to see in the future is to be able to check their livestock and purchase my fish online from them!

I generally order Rowaphos (imo the best phosphate remover on the market). For some unexplicable reason I can't buy it where I live here in the Czech Republic. I've tried literally tens of other companies in the UK but most won't send here (again, why? is a mystery). However, Shirley Aquatics send me my order every time with no problems and no bizarre excuses. Well done Shirley! Clearly a pioneer in mail order :o)

Really good service - easy to use website and ordering, emails to let me know exactly when items would be delivered and very reasonable prices and postage.
I ordered live daphnia for my baby axolotls, hard to get at this time of year, but they arrived in great condition and there were loads of them in each bag.
Will definitely use Shirley Aquatics again - thank you! :o)

This is the second online order I have placed (I do not always have time to drive up to Solihull) and both orders were despatched on time and with the appropriate email confirmation.

1st time I've used this company, usually I would shop with another online supplier. However pleasantly surprised with there great service, communication, products and price - I will use again.

Part of my original order was missing from its packaging as can happen. This was rectified very quickly and efficiently.

I purchased a new tank from Shirley Aquatics along with some other bits and bobs. It was delivered the very next day - at least a 40 mile trip down the motorway. The tank I ordered had an integrated filter, that I have not used before so I called up the next day and the man I spoke to couldn't have been more help full. The price of the tank was an amazing deal too - the cheapest I found anywhere.

I ordered the Nitrite Remover from Shirley Aquatics as I couldn't find another product like it anywhere else! The product works really well, and it arrived very quickly and well packaged.
