They had a very nice price on a pair of Merrell's I was long looking for at a discount. Took them 3 days to ship but other than that all went well.
Wanted to exchange the shoes that I ordered, but customer service gave me "Company policy"
I ordered two pairs of shoes which didn't fit, when I called and asked to exchange them, they wanted to charge me for the new shoes. I only wanted the same shoes a smaller size. I was told that because I used PayPal they could not send me the new shoes without charging my credit card. When I mentioned that I was not in a hurry, I was ready to wait till they got the original shoes back and then send me the new ones. The customer service person told me that without a credit card that will not send me new shoes.
Well, I did not want to use a credit card. So instead I send back the shoes and will order elsewhere. Oh, I understand that they have to make sure that they will not loose money, but when the shoes are payed for and they receive the ones that don't fit me and they insist to charge me again and then credit me, I think that is plain stupid.
Horrible customer service
The rep I spoke to at Shoebuy did not do as I asked, messed up my order, made me lose a discount and the manager I spoke to to clear up this situation didn't help either, nor did she call me back as promised. In addition, when I had to change my email address on my account, they screwed up everything and when I gave them detailed info so they could fix it, they did anything but fix it and made it worse. I don't know what happened to this business because something made them do a 180 degree turn in the wrong direction and they are heading downward at a rapid pace.
If you get a defective shoe, you're stuck!
Bought a pair of Skechers for work, after wearing twice, elastic seam came loose and frayed. Wanted me to send it back, and if they feel it was defective, they would refund after $6.95 restocking fee! If they feel it wasn't defective, they'll send it back! They didn't exchange because they don't carry that model anymore! So lose $7 and wot get the shoe you wanted! So now I'm out a pair of shoes and $45!! Never use them again!

I ordered a pair of shoes online, that displayed the item was in stock on Dec 10th at 7am. Thinking it would be here in a week just in time for Christmas I didn't want to risk it so I paid for 2 day shipping which had guaranteed shipping the same day at 12pm. Then around 1pm the same day, I went online to check the status of my order, and it did not appear online. I called customer support and waited 45 mins for someone to pick up the line. When I spoke to the rep the had no answers for me, the only thing he told me was that they were very busy and maybe my order hadn't been processed yet. Then exactly 2 minutes after I got off the phone with the agent, I received and email informing me that my order was canceled. I again called customer service, only to be answered by someone who just did not care. Poor customer service, high prices, and an outdated website. I recommend you order from 6pm.com the are a far superior web service then this place, don't waste your money and time.

I ordered 2 pairs of boots Nov 26, 2015. Half of the order arrived promptly 1 week later. I waited an additional week for the second half of my order then contacted their customer service. Nadisha explained to me that the boots were in stock and were on the final stage of processing, waiting on UPS pick-up.
Well, shoebuy just sent me a very generic computer generated email stating my order has been cancelled because the item was out of stock.
Stay away from this company. Amazon sold the item cheaper through shoes.com. Do your research before buying!
Under-handed and expensive
I have shopped at Shoebuy for nearly a decade. I now know they changed the fine print on their site several months ago to change their policy from free returns to a $6.95 re-stocking fee. I only know that because I tried to return a pair of shoes and was shocked to see a fee for doing that.
It's not reasonable to expect that every time I order from a site - especially one that I have been shopping at for many years - that I would read the terms and conditions page in detail. Shoebuy knew customers who had ordered under their previously policy of free exchanges would be blindsided by this change -- and they didn't take any meaningful steps to let customers know so they could avoid this charge.
That's sneaky and short-sighted. They have my $6.95 and they can choke on it because they lost a customer who spent at least $300/year for 8+ years.

Terrible customer service! I ordered 2 pair of two & neither one fit. Went on line & it was AFTER I received them did I learn about their "re-stocking" fee - - The initial web page offers FREE Shipping & FREE Exchanges - - have to dig a little deeper to learning about their $6.95 re-stocking fee. Tried to call & talk to "person who answered the phone" - - think he may have been in the Middle East - - very hard to understand. I requested to talk to a supervisor - - as well know, they have the power to make customers happy - - he said that was not possible & he would have someone call me - - NOPE, never did. I will NEVER purchase shoes here again (& I own over 100 pair of shoes) - - my money will go to Zappos, Amazon, Overstock, etc. UNLESS I receive some satisfaction (refund of almost $14.00) I will continue to tell everyone I know about this less than customer friendly rip--off!!!
Not impressed
Ordered a pair of shoes but got the wrong size. They sent a prepaid returnlable. Have not yet received my money back for that pair of shoes.
I ordered the same pair again because the service line said that it was a mistake and it had been fixed -but received the wrong size again. I tried to contact Shoebuy by mail, and a week later I have still not gotten a response.

I am disputing their claim that the shoes have been worn/used. I only tested them indoors long enough to realize they hurt my feet. I mean a person tries shoes on in a store before the purchase--and walks around in them, correct? Why would we not do the same when we buy shoes online? They were worn only indoors!--never touched the outdoors!! I hardly think the Vionic plaque on the bottom would remain shiney if they had been worn.

AFTER SOME PRODDING THE PERSON I SPOKE WITH AGREED THAT SINCE THEY COULDN'T "EXCHANGE" THERE WOULD BE NO RESTOCK FEE AND NOTED IT ON MY ORDER.......7 CALLS (ONE HUNG UP ON ME AND ANOTHER WAS ABANDONED AT 45 MINS WAITING FOR A SUPERVISOR)...3 OF FIRST FOUR ACKNOWLEDGED THE NOTES AND SAID THEY'D SEND A REFUND REQUEST TO ACCOUNTING, OF LAST THREE ONE WAS THE 45 MIN WAIT AND TWO REFUSED TO LET ME SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR. I HAVE REVERSED THE CHARGE....THAT WILL RESOLVE THIS VERY QUICKLY BUT I WILL NEVER EVER ORFER FROM THESE CLOWNS AGAIN!
CHANGED POLICY TO 6.95 PER ITEM RESTOCKING FEE WITHOUT NOTICE
I have been buying shoes from shoebuy.com for years, they always had free returns. On August first they QUIETLY changed this policy without telling their customers. I did my customary back to school order. I ordered a few sizes to see which fit and when I returned the others i got hit with 70 dollars in "restocking fees" 6.95 per shoe. When i asked for a one time waiver, they were obnoxious and unwilling. They would not explain why there was no notice. When i told them their website still says free returns they said that was due to cookies. I will never be using them again, and neither should you.

I purchased shoes from their site, and they were a half size too large. I went online to process the exchange (which was apparently supposed to be easy and "worry free" - why I felt OK buying them from this site), and the online system would not allow me to. I learnt after emailing them it was because I used PayPal to purchase them, and the system would therefore not allow an online exchange. They said I needed to call them to process the exchange, and the fee would be waived.
Bait and switch.
So I called and the rather abrupt and unfriendly rep told me I would have to purchase the replacement shoes using a credit card, and was told (both by email and on the phone) that because I was exchanging that a restocking fee ($7!!) would be waived. I confirmed this many times before giving them my money using the alternate payment method for the second pair. Of course, when I finally received the PayPal refund - it took a LONG time - they charged the restocking fee to me anyway.
So now I have to contact them and try to get this new issue resolved. AGAIN I've wasted SO much time on doing a simple exchange, and now about this ridiculous charge, it really comes down to principle at this point.
I expect much better from a SHOE company - you are dealing with shoes, which are often the wrong size or just don't work out. Exchanges or returns are common territory, so you need to have some kind of process in place and you don't. If you can't handle basic service when someone uses PayPal, don't accept PayPal!
AVOID THIS SITE. Spend a bit extra and buy your shoes from a more reputable and customer oriented business. Terrible, terrible experience.
Misleading exchange policy, Excludes Paypal purchases, slow ship
Careful how you pay for the purchase. After a length wait time to ship, the fitment guide was not correct and I needed to return shoes for an exchange. The WEBsite does not even give you an option for exchange. It forces you into a return and a $6.95 restock fee. According to Shoebuy, since I used Paypal, it was considered a third party purchase and not subject to free exchanges. This is not stated any place on website. Also, shoebuy said their web pages are not all working yet. If I want a refund I must petition the billing department via e-mail and request a refund of the $6.95 for the exchange. I think this is slightly shady. For them to say I am getting charged to exchange because of Paypal is ridiculous. Amazon.com next time.
Where are my shoes
I ordered 3 pair of shoes that were shipped to an address that does not exist". When tracking the shipment they have been all over the U.S. Were ordered on June 16, 2015 and July 8 still no shoes. Have called Shoe buy and asked to just cancel order. Refuse to credit my account until "they find the shoes". Spoke with a manager who was very rude. Had ordered shoes before and the experience was fine but they refuse to refund my $ and I have no shoes.
Awful experience but finally received my order
I ordered a bag as a gift over 3 weeks ago. In that time, I never received notification that the item had been dispatched so called them several times to find out what was happening. I spoke with several different "customer service" reps who had a different story on each occasion I called, and no resolution in sight. I was just told to wait up to another "10 business days". This is unacceptable service. I called again today to complain (again, no resolution offered) and a few minutes later received an email telling me my order had been cancelled. Unbelievable. Nothing was mentioned about a refund to my bank account either. Shop elsewhere, they're sharks.
Not long after I left the above review of my experience with Shoebuy.com, I received notification via email that my item was being shipped on 1 day delivery. I'm pleased to say that the parcel arrived this morning, all thanks to Joann who works at the company. I wish they'd given this level of service from the beginning but as it stands, they rectified the problem. I've updated my rating of them accordingly
Poor service and communication
I ordered two pairs of shoes through this company during the holiday on Dec 12, 2012. One pair of the shoes was for a wedding I was to attend in March. Well those shoes never arrived. I had to order two pairs of shoes for the discount and when the other pair of shoes didn't arrive they only credited my account. No offer of getting the shoes that never arrived that I needed and no communication about the credit to my account. Which by the way didn't get credited until March 2013. Very poor customer service. I think they just don't ship them so they don't have to offer the discount to get two pairs. Then they make you wait for months to get any sort of accomodation. I even had to call them twice to get them moving on the credit. Save your money and buy from someone who guarantees their shipments and products. Just awful!!!!!!!
