Slow and inflexible service

Just had a very bad experience with these guys. Ordered some RAM and a hard drive on Wednesday. I paid extra for 1-2 day delivery, as I was running a charity event this weekend and had a hard drive go belly up at the last minute. I ordered on my girlfriend's credit card and this apparently triggered some sort of anti-fraud response from them. Rather than getting in touch with either myself or my girlfriend by phone to confirm the details, they emailed to offer two options 1) fax my girlfriends bank statements to them (!), or 2) confirm the exact number of a small random amount to be withdrawn from my girlfriends account.

Although neither was ideal, I chose the second option.

It took a couple of days for the amount to be withdrawn from my girlfriends account, making it the Friday morning (today) before the back holiday weekend before I could tell them the amount. I got in touch immediately and requested next day delivery, which they refused to do because of the bank holiday Monday (not sure why, parcel delivery services work at the weekend).

They also refused to refund their extra charge for 1-2 day delivery, because technically they had only put the order through on Friday (today) - although I explained that the computer was needed urgently for a charity event and I'd been in touch with them all week.

Disappointed. Had hoped for prompt service from a local company.
