I really like the PS5 Pro. It's smaller and now fits in my entertainment unit without sounding like it's going to take off! The enhanced games I've tried so far look really good. If you have a great TV and appreciate the performance modes the graphical update is really nice. It's expensive for sure and many people will not appreciate the improvements but I really like them.

Whilst I acknowledge that I am something of a playstion fan (so maybe a little biased) I still feel that the console is objectively a fantastic piece of kit. The PS5 is a fabulous console and the PRO model is even better again. Of course, the elephant in the room is the cost and there is simply no getting around the fact that it is expensive, however, value for money is extremely subjective. As someone who uses their Playstation for at least 4 hours every evening I consider the value to be well worthwhile for the amount of enjoyment I will get over the next 4 years or so.

Upgraded from a base PS5 to the Pro, and I’m very impressed with the improvements. If you’re someone that enjoys playing games at the highest quality and frame rates, this will tick all the boxes and is currently the only console that can compete with PC level performance. A TV with VRR, ALLM, 120hz is not a requirement, although I would say the main reason to upgrade or buy a Pro and utilises the full potential of the console. The only negative Is It doesn’t come with a disc drive and they are currently sold out, which isn’t great.

There is a lot of negativity online about the PS5 pro but if you’re interested in one and have a good TV or PSVR2 I’d recommend it. I like games at 60 fps so to have the greater fidelity at this frame rate is excellent and I can really see a difference personally. I play a lot of GT7 in VR and this was my main motivation to get a PS5 pro I took a gamble that the upcoming patch will also improve the VR experience but I've noticed it's better already. Everything is smoother and often feels sharper (it's not cured mura!) The draw in for distant cars is largely fixed too so I can't wait for the official patch 🤞 I'm looking forward to Helldivers also being patched for the pro. I sold my PS5 slim and made up the difference to afford this console and I'm very happy 😀
