Myself & my sister booked 10days away…
Myself & my sister booked 10days away with our dogs at the site near Bournemouth in aug we were near the play park & the first thing we noticed we had travellers nxt to us as 2 woman alone we were worried about problems from our neighbours they were o ly their one day&night while we was their but the language from the father was awful & the mess left behind was disgusting dirty nappies cansbottles bags of open rubbish which was only cleaned up after someone opposite us reported it to reception surly the pitch should of been inspected on leaving ? Also the amount of tents squashed in infront of us was horrendous not showing that on ur website when looking on booking ? Plus ball games being played in the road & between tents not in the massive field that was allowed for children ? Which brings me on to the subject off us, never booking again. The dog walking field that you call it. The size of a postage stamp was horrendous. We had 3 dogs between us, and it was not big enough for them to have a good run. The kids had a massive play area, which they did not use all of and did not need it could have been fenced off further up towards the swimming pool, to make access for people with dogs as most people have them for everybody to be able to walk their dogs and play in a sensible sized area? There was no access off the campsite to be to let your dogs off their leads to run anywhere. There was no pavements to walk them anywhere to get to a field either as the main road came straight into the complex? If you didn't have a car, you had nowhere to go? My last point is the shower block. It was disgustingly filthy hair everywhere. Dirty floor tiles didn't look like it ever been cleaned from 1 day to another. No notices on the wall with cleaning progress. I tried an evening was terrible than I tried a morning.Just as bad reported this to reception was told, there should be a chart on the wall i said there wasn't, and even when I left, there still hadn't been rectified ? This holiday I take once year with my sister. Cost me £51 per night. And I do not feel it was worth the money. I was also disgusted that when on leaving day, we asked if we could stay a few hours, we was told we'd have to pay an extra days rental just for a few hours. Most places only charge about £5/£10 to stay on for a few hours. Nobody was coming on our pitch, and I don't understand why you think it's justified to charge another days rent? I'm sorry that I've had to put all these complaints in, but I do believe that people should be able to read the true aspect of where they're staying so they can judge for themselves if they want to stay or not. I hope that you can address some of these issues and move forward?
