Don't bother with them
Wait for then two weeks for 6 autographs to be dispatched, send more then enough email chasing the items.
AVOID.
Purchased and autographed item. Took 2 weeks to dispatch. Granted it was over the holidays however still took longer than I would have thought and was promised it would be dispatched on one date but never was. When it did finally arrive the authenticity code was not working or registered. Contacted customer services where I was told they would resolve the issue. A week later still the matter was not resolved and I’m now being ignored. Scam artists if you ask me.

Amazing service for irreplaceable parts.
I couldn't attend the London Winter Comicon due to holiday commitments and was disappointed as David Tennant was there.
I've wanted to get my full size Dalek Sec signed by him, and a bonus as Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones), was there too.
When i saw it was possible to send items in, although nervous of posting parts of the Dalek, I took a chance.
Jason from Showmasters has been amazing during the whole process, replying to my emails very promptly and I got my autographs with SWAU holograms back yesterday, well packaged in perfect condition.
I would definitely use them again.
Jason Griffiths is thieving scumbag
Jason Griffiths is thieving scumbag. Started a project through the showmasterssales website and still waiting after 5 years. Keeps saying on Facebook that he'll send emails out with an update but never does. Has taken a lot of money and not supplied the goods.
Avoid Avoid Avoid.
Thieving scum stole my money for a photoshoot that never happened, I ordered the photoshoot in option 2:30:pm/3:30pm coz I don't live in London, I got there befor 3, kept checking the photo booths asked what was happening showed them the qr code and one of the staff said it was really to do with the event, and photoshoot was at 9am.
Like I'm sopposed to know or understand that and it is not possible to get there that fast to London, they even had the nerve to block me on Instagram coz I called them out for bad customer service,
The disgusting greedy millionaires still have my £61 shamelessly refusing to give it back coz their criminals. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Adding my voice to the bad experience with Showmasters.
Unfortunately I have to add my voice to the bad reviews of Showmasters.
Many years ago, I used to attend a few Showmasters events and they were properly organised, friendly and efficient. When i saw there was a Star Trek convention to be run in Birmingham in August 2023, I jumped at the chance to attend, booking for the convention in February 2023. I was due to have surgery in April 2023. The surgery was cancelled due to the Junior Doctors Strike and ultimately moved to the day before the convention. It was surgery I'd waited over 4 years for, where i'd be completed sedated for. I contacted Showmasters, who said that the ticket could roll over to the following year. I thought that was great and very kind. Some months after that, they announced the event was moving from Birmingham to Blackpool for 2024. It was a venue I had no hope of getting to, I contacted Showmasters again and they rolled it over to 2025. Then they announced that 2025's would also be in Blackpool.
Rolling the ticket over to three years from when i booked seemed ridiculous to me, so i asked them for a refund. They've refused, saying that i was aware when the ticket rolled over that it was going to be in Blackpool. I emailed them that i hadn't been aware that it was moving to Blackpool, that had been anounced after the ticket had been rolled over and that as soon as the Blackpool venue was anounced, i emailed them to tell them i couldn't attend that city. i said that I'd never heard of an organiser refusing a refund under these circumstances, despite the T's and C's, and enquired as to what would they have done personally if they had been in my situation. That i'd been attending conventions since 1986, when i was 5, that my parents knew the organisers of the very first one in this country, that i's never heard of something like this happening, and that back then conventions were for charity. I even said that if they didn't want to refund the money to me, then maybe donate the money to their nominated charity. I was truly annoyed. To date I haven't heard a word from Showmasters, even saying they'll donate the money to charity.
Its too late for me to get a charge back from my bank now, from the other comments on here, it appears its standard that Showmasters won't refund under any circumstances, so contacting your bank for a chargeback, if its a recent refund you need.
I have informed Showmasters that i have no interest in attending any of their events going forward.
Maybe they need to remember how they ran events in 2013, and learn from their own past on how to treat customers.
Happily, i hadn't spent much money this time around, but it is upsetting that others are being treated the same way. It all reminds me of Rogue Events.
I've never been compelled to write a review on Trustpilot before, if they'd said they would put the money to charity, i wouldn't be writing this now.
Avoid this company
Avoid this company! After the guest I booked a photo shoot with pulled out they refused to refund the entrance ticket price. If there is a major change to an advertised event a refund should be an option!

I wrote a review in November 2021 so thought I’d update.
I finally got my refund from the diamond pass I bought for the July 2021 convention, I got it on Wednesday 22nd May 2024.
Good luck to anyone still going to these events. Before Covid they were amazing, after Covid they are atrocious and just run by a bunch of money grabbing corporates who don’t care about the experience anymore. Don’t give them money, they don’t deserve it and going to an event will just make you sad.
Avoid Sh*tmasters at all costs!
Back in July 2022, I went to London Film & Comic Con. My first and LAST Showmasters event!
One of my reasons for going was to meet Robert England and for him sign some Nightmare stuff. I emailed Showmasters two weeks before the event asking what times were Robert were signing (as he would be spending most of day in makeup for the photos). I was told that he would be signing in the morning. So I travel to the event with my Nightmare stuff, get in early, only to be told that he WASN'T signing at all and just doing photos all day! So basically Showmasters lied when I asked if he would be signing.
After being miffed off about that, I went over to Christopher Lloyd's table before he came out and was given a number. As this was my first con, I asked if they would be announcing these numbers in batches for when it's time to queue. I was told - 'Yes that's right!'.....this wasn't the case whatsoever! I went away for an hour, realised that no numbers were being announced and came back to absolute queuing chaos!
None of the people working knew what was going on, people with Diamond Passes were being shoved into the queue, and after a while, some of the queue organisers just gave up and vanished! I could see even worse chaos with a similar "queuing system" with Joseph Quinn. Due to the lack of organisation, I was in Christopher Lloyd's queue for around 3 hours before meeting him.
IF you are going to one of their events, then the only advice I can offer is pay on the day for auto/photo tickets, do NOT purchase them in advance because if that particular guest cancels, you don't get a refund! The ticket just gets rolled over to another event that the guest MIGHT attend - which is absolute lunacy!
Event cash vouchers never refunded...
I attended an event, purchased cash vouchers (as required in order to buy photos etc at the event), and handed in unused cash vouchers to the cashier at the end for a refund. The refund never appeared on my credit card. When I queried this, initially Showmasters were responding by emails (though not actually resolving the issue); in the end they stopped responding altogether. I am now preparing to take this issue to a couple of consumer protection bodies. Showmasters are basically fine with pocketing customers money and presumably hoping that the customer will just give up.
they don't look after peoples items
sent a poster in for an event, and it was not handled in a professional manor as come back with creased points and the poster looks awful.
alot of money spent on signings to get them to damage it :-(
Ordered a signed photo for £115 from…
Ordered a signed photo for £115 from their online shop as I couldn't make the comic con.
The print came damaged, with creases all over and a fold up the middle of it.
I also paid extra to have the character name and a quote on it. It didn't have this. It was also written in a different colour to the colour stated and requested.
Traded at Bournemouth September 23 and…
Traded at Bournemouth September 23 and it was a complete shambles, sold a pitch for extortionate money and packed in so tightly the other traders either side had to literally crawl over us to get out, this was a serious health & safety/Fire issue, also for some reason the event was only about 30% the size it was portrayed to be and all cramped into one hall with 2 rows of traders, there was absolutely nothing to do for attendees and felt really sorry for them paying to get in to what was basically a glorified indoor bootsale, had people complaining to me about the event and apologised on Showmasters behalf, not sure why when we were treated equally as bad.
At one point on Sunday when it was so empty cosplayers were so bored they were running around the empty hall playing catch me, not one of the showmasters staff stopped them even though they could have fell into someones stand and injured themselves let alone anyone else.
On the Saturday the heat was incredible and no air conditioning was turned on even though many traders asked a member of the SM team, again I had people at my stand complaining. SM really do not care about visitors or attendees. Trade with these guys at your peril and if you attend, very best of luck.
I have complained to them but on deaf ears so now compiling letters to relevant authorities such as H&S, Fire and trading standards to make them aware of what happened at this event.
Absolute shambles and not good enough by a long way.....
Don't use their online store
I placed an order online and upon receiving the item, its different from the picture I selected. I've emailed 5 times now and seem to be being ignored as the item has been returned for a refund which I still haven't received. They've got my item back and are refusing to refund me, so I'm out £50 with nothing to show for it
Went to Film and Comic Con Glasgow
Went to Film and Comic Con Glasgow. Really looking forward to meeting Phillip Glenister from Life On Mars/Ashes To Ashes. Could not have been more uninterested or rude if he tried. Also watching the Golf on his phone rather than engaging. Waste of time being there. Showmasters should not pay him to come as he does not care about the fans.
Awful
Awful, paid £60 for a Christina ricci print
£20 gift voucher
£40 on my bank card
They initially told me if had to be cancelled, another email later I get told that's a mistake and they have it. A week passes I get a refund email for only £40
Where's my £20 gift voucher I used???? Refuse to answer emails and have ignored me ever since. Do not bother buying from there store.
A supposedly good event ruined!
Some decent guests, however there are some serious complications. Lazy and annoying staff. Messy arrangements and nobody had a clue on what they were doing. Everything is WAY overpriced too. Overall a good experience which was tarnished. Save your money for better event holders.
