"Same day dispatch" means they will send you a tracking number, and then sit on the parcel for 3 days before handing it over to Royal Mail. It is NOT a same day dispatch!
The quality is appalling!!! Air bubbles and a very thin coating layer that no doubt will start peeling within a few weeks.

Very quick delivery , but quality was poor.i ordered 3d carbon letters which looked more grey in colour and not black. The carbon also looked very unrealistic. I could have bought self adhesive carbon letters and made a better job myself .asked for refund but didn't seem interested in giving me my hard earnt money back . Very dissatisfied

Prompt service with a superb finish on the plate.

Ordered four number plates, big bubbles appeared less than one month later.

Show Plates Direct are really difficult to get hold of, no response to emails, telephone number didn't work.

In the end had to raise Paypal dispute to get a refund.

I too am shocked by the poor reviews.
Service has been brilliant. I ordered late one afternoon and received plates promptly next morning.
Quality looks great, although time will tell I suppose!

Absolutely shocking experience. After a few months the rear number plate I ordered started to warp and bubble. Showplates direct offered to send a replacement plate, however this wasn’t delivered. I’ve sent email after email but had no response back from them, im so disappointed with the customer service I have received and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Ordered a 7x6 motorbike plate ....the font is a joke! If I didn't need glasses to read I would with what they sent!
Contacted customer service ...as others have said, nothing back!
You're only as good as your last sale .... this will be my last money wasted with this lot. I've used them a fair bit over the years and they were ok ....obviously gone down hill. Won't use again ....happy to spend my money elsewhere.....totally useless customer service!!!

Terrible company to deal with.

Plates arrived promptly, and looked decent. Within a few weeks they were bubbling. Emailed, sent message via Facebook and PayPal but no response at all when I asked for replacement plates. Only responded once PayPal dispute raised. Still no offer of replacement or refund. Avoid at all costs!

Shocking service I paid the money got a receipt from PayPal, no confirmation from this company sent email after email to different emails addresses the seem to have and no reply total ignored. Crap service will now be contacting bank to chase my money back feel like I’ve been scammed.

Bought a set of plates off them just before Christmas and they were delivered 2 weeks later. Plates arrived as i ordered them, but they were of low quality especially the printing, when I emailed them on numerous occasions asking what they would do about this, they didn't answer and ignored my email's. I paid with PayPal and opened a dispute case, they refunded me the next day!!

I ordered a set of plates from Showplates Drect and plates were delivered the next day. However they were for another customer and obviously totally useless. Despite over three emails and phone calls ( yes i found their number) they have not responded to me. Do not use them they are incompetent and do not sort messes they create. I will now see if I can get my money back.
Update 20 minutes after posting this review I got my money back. Thank you but why not answer my email?

Ordered two sets of plates. 3 days later they turned all good to go. Unfortunately an error in spacing on 1 front and 1 back plate.
Made a single email, two days later the correct plates were delivered free of charge.
Mistakes happen, I'm sure they turn plates out by the 100's each week!
Absolutely BRILLIANT courteous service.

I am surprised to see the negative reviews on this site. As I have used this company several times and the speed of dispatch and the quality of the plates for my cars and motorcycles have always been of the best quality.

Terrible company, I ordered plates 28/10, never arrived, answered my email saying that they had been delivered and signed for, but not by me I may add, it’s taken till today to get a refund so only 2 weeks, rubbish company, rubbish communication i sent my phone number and they wouldn’t even ring me when asked. You do not deserve to succeed In business when you do not put your customers first, I placed an order and your couriers did not deliver to the address on the order or anywhere near by and you can’t even be bothered to ring me. Shame on you, lack of communication is unforgivable.

After reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant to use Showplates, however, every competitor had similar, if not worse review ratings. I ordered show plates with standard tracked delivery. My order came the next day which I was very pleased with. The plates are of a good quality, slight few scratches on the front but nothing very noticeable. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Great company ordered plates Fri at 1230 delivered Sat at 1300 hows thats good service,Number plates spot on no sharp edges like some and good quality.I will use again and recommend this company to anyone.
