Not professional/ trustworthy , after 6 months of waiting and thinking that we were going to buy a house they let me know with a mini e-mail saying that the owner pulled the sale back. No phone call , no explanation, no early warning no sympathy nothing. From the day one everything they said proved to be untrue. They are only seller focused, don’t give a thought about the buyer.

Moving house is a stressful affair, ours was made much less so by the fabulous assistance received from Sydney & Co.

Ian’s financial services came highly recommended to us from a friend. He was exactly what we were looking for and guided us through the entire process, explaining everything in terms we understood and presenting us with options to suit our financial needs.

We’d already had several estate agents come to value our house, they were keen to sell our property which was in a lucrative area of Aigburth but I had the feeling we were just pound signs to them. Ian mentioned he worked alongside Rachel at Sydney & Co and passed her number as he felt she may be better able to represent us. The minute I spoke with her on the phone I knew I’d found our Estate Agent. She is the most warm, friendly and professional person I have met. Rachel understood we had found our dream home and needed to put ours on the market, she came out promptly to view and value the house and reassured us that it would likely be snapped up once on the market. Rachel was so positive and complimentary about our home, she picked up on all the character features and finishes and had a real vision of what potential buyers would like about the house and I had no doubt she would market it in a very complimentary fashion. Rachel’s description of our house was the most detailed I have ever seen and would give buyers a very honest and accurate perception, the photos and manner in which our house was advertised was excellent.

Rachel ensured all who enquired about the house were in a financial position to buy which avoided time waters, she has a great ability to establish a rapport with just about anyone and this was so beneficial for viewings. We accepted an offer on our house within a week and to a young couple who we knew our home would be perfect for.

You are always able to get hold of Sydney & Co, nothing is ever too much trouble and Rachel managed our chain beautifully, she kept our buyers regularly updated which meant they didn’t pressure us at all. We experienced difficulty and delay with our solicitors yet we had such incredible support and assistance from both Rachel and Ian and owe a very successful house move to the commitment and hard work of both. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family and if we ever decide to move again, I will be asking Sydney & Co for their wonderful services and we will be continuing with Ian’s excellent financial services.
