Surrey Housekeepers - now called Silks
Don't use this company.
Here is why.
Last year I asked this company - previously called Surrey Housekeepers - to find me a fulltime, live-out housekeeper.
I gave a full and detailed description of my requirements.
However this company recommened someone who did not match my requirements. I felt hesitant about employing this person but as the agency isisted they were so good, I agreed to employ this recommended person.
Given that this housekeeper then proved to be totally unsuitable, and I had to give her notice, it would seem, on reflextion, that the agency had made no attempt to find me what I had asked for.
Not once did the agency contact me to see if I was happy with their placing.
Equally, not once did the agency contact the person they had found to keep house for me.
I have since written to Surrey Housekeepers - who now call themselves Silks - which is run by the two same women.
I have followed this up by emailing Silks but I have received no reply at all.
A colleague has phoned them on my behalf to try to speak with Amanda Cooper, and has left three messages and yet not one phone call has been returned.
Surrey Housekeepers took my money - £1,755.
Not a penny has been returned to me.
This shoddy service is a disgrace and naturally I feel totally let down.
It would appear that this company is incompetently run by unprofessional people who are soley after making a quick buck.
I rest my case.
