What an awful, amateurish business. They took my cherished car, quoted £25k and 3 months for a restoration, but after 3 years and £70k spent they dumped the project, unfinished. The following year has been spent trying to undo their shoddy work and deal with all the issues they caused. They ran the engine without oil, used Hammerite to paint over rust, botched all the electrics, applied over 1cm of filler in some areas, lost or broke various hard-to-replace parts, and returned a dangerous mess of an unfinished car to me.
If you are considering entrusting your car to this business, you really should look elsewhere. This is a fly-by-night, grubby little back street bodge-artist business, run by incompetent idiots with a history of bankruptcies and broken promises. Check out the directors on Companies House or in County Court archives, they have tried to hide their chequered past but it's all on the public record if you look for it. Or, ask anyone local in the classic car business - engine builders, chrome platers, paint shops - they all know what this company is like.
