We had a very nice experience with the wood cutting service at Fisketorvet unit, the person who helped me went an extra mile to make my project possible. Measurements were also perfect and really made my diy project a professional look.

I have been coming to the store for 2 years but I have rarely met a helpful worker who had the willingness or patience to help also considering it is a store for DIY crowd.

Today I was helped by Jakob. He was thorough and explained everything and made my day so much better.

I had some issues funding the screws that I needed, but Jakob was very polite and helped me navigating the store.

Our experience at Fisketorvet had some highs and lows. On the main floor, the young staff really didn’t seem to know how things were supposed to run, and that ended up wasting quite a bit of our time. It was clear they weren’t aware of what was feasible or how the shop’s process worked, which was a bit frustrating.

But once we got to the workshop to cut our plywood, it was a completely different experience. The guy who helped us there, Turgut, was super nice, incredibly competent, and really turned things around with his great customer service. So while the initial part was a bit of a hassle, Turgut really made the difference for us in the end.

When I picked up my click and collect order, one of the three items was missing so I had to make the staff aware and they had to go and find it in the store to complete my order.

We rented a vaccum cleaner, which was needed to meet a tight deadline in our renovation. When we went to collect it, it was missing parts and the personel lied to us saying that the vacuum was only for pipes, which was nonsense. And after that I was still charged for a vacuum bag that I didn’t get. Finding any other solution in future.
