Worst Airlines in existence

Worst Airlines in existence. Did you know they average almost a 4hr delay? Every employee aside from their pilots are rude and incompetent. They don’t even announce delays the gate agents just sit there and scroll facebook then get mad when you ask what the issue was. Each time you ask they usually lie and make up some BS. Please just avoid at all costs. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but this airlines is really THAT BAD. Also small plane, loud plane, and uncomfortable. Spend the extra $100 fly someone else.

There is bad and then there is this….

There is bad, worst and horrible and then there is Silver Airlines which fits into a category entirely of its own. Flight delay 28 hours before the flight even left, excuse, another flight delay, more excuses. The customer service number is a complete joke.
Reliable - NO
Can you count on them to maintain schedule
- NO
Would I recommend them to get you where you need to be on time - NO
DON'T BOOK WITH THEM

Terrible Experience

On May 8th, I booked a flight from Tallahassee to Tampa with Silver Airline, my first time using this airline, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The flight was scheduled for the very next day, May 9th, departing Tallahassee at 7:45 PM for a price of $399. However, the flight was delayed until 11:57 PM, a delay of more than 4 hours. Due to safety concerns about traveling late at night, I decided to cancel the flight on May 9th, within 24 hours of booking. I was informed by Silver that there would be no cancellation fee due to the delay exceeding 4 hours.
To my surprise, when I checked my credit card statement on May 16th, I discovered that I had been charged a $99 cancellation fee. Upon contacting Silver again, I was told that the fee was applied without any explanation. This treatment is unfair and inconsistent with the policies of most other airlines, which typically waive cancellation fees for flights canceled within 24 hours of booking, especially in cases of significant delays like the one I experienced.
I wanted to share my experience with you so that you are aware of the poor service provided by Silver Airline. I have decided that I will never book another flight with this airline.

First and LAST time flying Silver…

This is my first time flying Silver Airways and they are nearly 3 hours late!! Received ZERO notifications and when you search flight it stated it’s on time still…as I’m sat here being told by staff that can rely on their own app.
First time. Last time! I could’ve driven from West Palm Beach to Tampa on the time I’m parked, checked baggage and got to gate. Literally could’ve driven!!!

They canceled our flights and did a "free" rebooking. However, they did not offer the new flight rate that was over $200 cheaper. We had to book a room for an extra night at the hotel. So essentially our fun getaway is costing us more due to the airlines changing our flight days without compensation.

Bad business

Missed plane due to connecting flight being late from extreme weather., staff were rude and not helpful in the slightest, next flight was 24hours later and then was canceled without any communication to passengers- no vouchers offered for motel or food or rides to motels

Silver Airlines is absolutely the worst…

Silver Airlines is absolutely the worst airline. I booked a flight from from FLL to TLH for my daughter that attends college in Tallahassee FL. I tried calling for 3 days straight to add baggage to her itinerary. Held the phone for hours each time, no one answered. Selected the option for a call back, no one called back. On the day of departure wasn’t notified that the flight was delayed. Originally it was supposed to be a two hour delay. Three hours later they were finally able to board to only sit on the tarmac for an hour and had to get of the plane due to a mechanical issue. Now it’s 11pm. My daughter has class in the morning. No one is at the gate giving updates. No type of communication whatsoever. Flight was supposed to leave at 6pm and here it is midnight with no updates. This is completely unacceptable and I wonder if anything can be done about this! I will NEVER patronize this airline again!

A horror show

This is quite possibly the worst airline I have ever flown. Given that I have flown regional airlines across Africa and Asia, that says quite a lot. It seems to go beyond a poor customer service attitude, extending to questions I have around their competence. I will be surprised if they are still in business in a year’s time, and I wouldn’t trust anything about them in the interim.

AVOID AT ALL COST

Yep, like everyone else’s review so far … AVOID at ALL COST! There are other options.

They delayed our flight by 3 hours (the flight was already delayed, then the pilot flew into BVI airport the wrong way and was stuck and couldn’t get out. It was almost funny watching these men MANUALLY pushed the aircraft backwards so it could turn!).

Anyway we missed our connection to Punta Cana. Had a resort booked for the family which cost approx. 1500 USD per night. No refund. No compensation. Nothing 🙈

So … let’s all help do the community a favour. If we all stop booking with this airline, eventually it will have to stop flying.

Silver is the worst airline

Flight was to take off at 8. They say the crew got in late and has to rest. Why didn’t they send a notice it was delayed instead of still getting us to airport early. Then there is a second flight to same place leaving at 9:15 so they could have pulled crew from that flight and sent ours first. Nope we are waiting over two hours for our delayed flight. Unacceptable Terrible service

🛑 Beware of @SilverAirways!!!🛬 I just had the worst customer service experience and am extremely disappointed. 😤 Over 2 months ago, I emailed their guest relations dept requesting reimbursement with extensive details and copies of receipts for a last minute flight cancellation due to Silver Airways no longer offering a flight route. 👎 Since then, I have spent over 10+ hours on the phone with representatives and supervisors who seem absolutely clueless!!! 📞 No resolution in sight. 😡 #CustomerServiceFail #SilverAirwaysFail #FlightCancellation #Reimbursement Needed #SilverAirways, reimburse my hard-earned money!!! 💰💸💲

Worst airline experience ever!

I would leave no stars but then I can’t leave a review. I cannot express how bad our experience was with Silver airways (SA) in Jacksonville, FL. And if I try to describe it would take too long. But the gist of it was
1. we got to SA counter to check in ~2:35-45pm, no one was there. Saw a sign that said to arrive 2 hrs before flight and ticket agent leaves 45mins before flight takes off. Was not told this beforehand. Flight was also delayed ~1hr so was not leaving until 4:55ish
2. Made several calls on the airport service phone who “notified” the customer service rep for SA who said they could not come back to the counter until the flight had departed
3. Went back and forth between TSA & baggage claim trying to get assistance because that’s what we were told to do
5. TSA agent was no help even after telling him our flight was leaving within the next 30mins
4. Called SA customer service line & was on hold for over 2hrs and no answer
5. Missed our flight and sat in airport until agent finally came around 5pm. Stated there was nothing she could do and we would have to reschedule our flight & pay for another flight
6. Had to purchase another flight with Southwest for $500+ to leave that night
7. THEN RECEIVED EMAIL STATING OUR RETURN FLIGHTS HAD BEEN CANCELLED & WHEN QUESTIONED WHY, WAS TOLD IT WAS BECAUSE WE MISSED OUR INITIAL FLIGHT!!! Contacted Travelocity who is who we purchased our flights from and they told us that they couldn’t do anything about it and to call SA customer service which we did but now it’s after hrs and they’re CLOSED!!!!!
WILL NOT USE THIS AIRLINE, TRAVELOCITY OR RECOMMEND EITHER OF THEM!!!!!

THE ONLY SAVING grace for the whole trip was 2 young ladies, ANNETTE HORTON & WARRENISHA WASHINGTON, agents at the SA counter in New Orleans. We went there the next morning to try to rectify the return issue. They were both VERY HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE & sympathetic to our issue. Annette was able to get our flight reinstated without a hitch. They both were a BLESSING & WE’RE TRULY THANKFUL!!! They alone deserve 5 ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️

Worse Airline Ever! Avoid at all cost’s!

Both myself and my 4 year old daughter have been at the airport for 12 plus hours by now only to get on the airplane and then be told to get off again! This is unacceptable, we were just told they were supposed to provide food voucher and nothing was provided. No one answers the phone and no one has come out to speak to any of the passengers. Our flight was 3146 to Greenville, SC and what was supposed to be a 2 hour flight turned into 12 hours of hell. Never again with this airline! I want to emphasize on the fact that no one communicated with us and that we were told the flight was cancelled 12 hours later!!

Delay after Delay. Beyond Frustrated

This was one of my worst experiences flying with any airline. My first flight to the Bahamas from Ft Lauderdale was met with a delay due to an issue with the plane. While on the runway, it was notably hot on the plane. There was an issue with the system providing air to the cabin. so my 11:30 am flight was delayed to sometime after 2:30 pm. we get back aboard the plane and got to the runway when the same issue happened again. The pilot apologized and said that the line providing air to the plane is connected to other important components and would need to be checked out as they didn't want another issue to happen while in flight. I understood this and didn't complain. Another plane was brought in and we ended up getting to the Bahamas after 9 pm.

*** Call back from customer service took 4 hours. We drove for 4 hours before we got a call to aid with the terrible website***

***During my time at the airport, I heard a woman who used this airline complain that this is a regular occurrence.**

Notably, the website for check-in is extremely frustrating. It was asking for information that wasn't readily available. I had to jump through hurdles to find any resemblance of any information about my flight. I had to reach out to a friend and ask them to log into an actual PC to get me the information I needed which was still inconclusive.

The following week I logged in to check into my flight. (Still a massive pain in the rear) There was another delay. the 11:30 am flight was pushed to 4:30 pm. Then 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, and so on and so on. We sat in the airport for hours and there was no staff available for assistance after 6 pm. We ended up arriving back in Ft Lauderdale at 11:20 pm.

At no time did we receive a text or email about the delays. The website was unclear with any information. everyone looking at their phone for information came back with conflicting information. The crew that was available, left us in the waiting area with no answers and it was just frustrating to no end.

My trip was wonderful but If this is my only option to get to Freeport, I probably won't be going back. The good thing about this experience is that the flight to and from the Bahamas was fine. No major issues and we landed safely both times. Thankful for that. But the overall experience with the delays leaves me not wanting to ever use this airline again.
