This was a great experience

This was a great experience, I did the McLaren track experience, which was a gift, I had a great time and my instructor Dave was excellent, I would happily do it again, made the experience great and got my partner involved as well. Highly recommend for motorsport enthusiasts

I booked the Silverstone Ferrari…

I booked the Silverstone Ferrari Experience as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and I’m extremely disappointed with the service. Just two days before the experience, it was cancelled with no real explanation. I had already booked a hotel (which I lost money on) and taken time off work, only to be told I couldn’t have a refund — just the option to rebook within three months.

This has caused huge inconvenience, completely ruined the special plans I had arranged, and left me out of pocket. For such a premium experience, I expected much better customer service and flexibility. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this experience based on how poorly the situation was handled.

Silverstone cancelled one day before the experience

I booked an Silverstone Ferrari Day experience with a voucher for my partner's birthday last year. We booked on line about a month ago and then booked a hotel as we're travelling 3.5 hours from the north to get to Northampton. Today (one day before the experience) I have received a notification to say due to mechanical failure it's cancelled!! It's absolutely disgusting. They've told us we have to re-book in the next 3 months. No way! If I can't extend the booking into next year or if I can't get a refund I'll go to a solicitor. Be warned - it might be good day - but getting it when you want it, and contacting anyone at Silverstone is impossible other than submitting a Form on line. £400 and they treat you like a number

50th and father's day present.

I had the best day. The Aston Martin I got to drive was awesome, the speed was incredible.
My instructor Alan made my experience brilliant. He was great, fantastic knowledge of the track and the speed he took me round was again incredible.
I'd recommend it to everyone.
I'm still buzzing from it

Best 30th experience with our son

O my goodness, my husband and I have just done this f1 experience with our son who’s celebrating his 30th birthday , (yes only women) girl power , well it was fantastic Chaz Small the instructor was fantastic definitely would come back and do it all again, thanks to everyone involved great experience 😃

Silverstone Caterham Drift Experience

Received as a birthday, the couple of hours for this experience could not have been more enjoyable.
Before actual start, visit the museum and coffee shop. Then head to the viewing gallery over Silverstone track for instructions,everyone very welcoming and friendly. Family, friends, picnic all encouraged. Three man team, led by Christian, really made the experience so more fun. The raw feels of the Caterhams superb, although a little tight for my XL size, was an absolute blast. If you have a petrol head in the family, they will certainly have a cracking day and be smiling all day long. Highly Recommended.

Horrendous Customer Service

I have booked for my husband to enjoy the single seater experience in June. I have asked to change to the following week, due to family event and I've been told that I can't change it unless it's for court duty or injury. I paid the insurance and this is obviously a rip off as I'm clearly not insured to alter a date. Very Very Poor Customer Service from Tatum.

F1 British Grand Prix 2024.

Unfortunately our experience this year was not very good. The public parking was fine to park but trying to get out of the field took two and a half hours with no one directing you out so there was many queues trying to get out of one opening. We were in the Hamilton stand and felt that the red bull building was loud and took away some of the view.
The email we received regarding renewing the SRC club membership (full circuit) stated that we had until 31/7/24 to renew but when I went onto the website within the hour of receiving the email it stated it was all sold out. We emailed the customer service who came back to us a few days later saying try the grid membership but as we found out that sold out at the same time as the full circuit.
Without a doubt we feel that Silverstone is all about how much money they can make and customer service comes a distant second.

Attended the recent F1

Attended the recent F1, and as an expensieve treat we booked the Garge enclosure. After being miss directed a coule of times and walking a long distance over mud we finally made it. We were extremely dissapointed, 1 small food outlet open to the elements, the stand was open to the elements so no protection from the sun or rain. The enclosure was very poor and cetainly not worth the money. The race was great to see, unfortunately the view from the stand wasn't brilliant.
I would recomend spending a bit more on a decent stand as you have access to more food outlets etc.

Great atmosphere & special ( expensive…

Great atmosphere & special ( expensive ) treat for my son’s 17th birthday but VERY disappointed that on race day George Russell announced there were 20 silver tickets attached to seats in Hamilton which would ensure a great prize .
My son was one of the lucky 20 & followed instructions to register and would receive notification of his prize .
We left at 19:30 and he was not contacted and hasn’t been since . Other people with silver ticket did not get contacted either .
If anyone knows of anyway to contact Mercedes who promised a prize to these 20 people please let me know .

Great watching F2 & F1 but terrible…

Great watching F2 & F1 but terrible parking. Even paying for enclosure it is just public parking (£££) in muddy fields. Hours to get in and hours to get out.
We tried new Garage Enclosure... Queuing for toilets, only 1 food van choice, staff were friendly tho. No use of shuttle bus so 1.5km walk over mud and gravel to get to it inner track.

Cancelled with no notice

It was a rainy day so we phoned up before we left London to double check it wouldn't be cancelled - they told us no. Hired a rental car and travelled to Silverstone where they announced at the exact time it was supposed to start that it would be cancelled due to the rain. It had been raining the whole day, as forecasted, so this wasn't a freak weather event. Frustrating to waste a trip and the money after checking with them. They should be considerate of the distances people are travelling and be more pre-emptive with cancelling and notifying rather than holding off until the last minute just in case.

Considering this is their cancellation, the re-booking policy is restrictive - we must rebook for a date within the next 3 months (when the original voucher has a validity of 10 months). This is not convenient for us and so the voucher might go wasted.

Day wasted and £80 out of pocket (so far)

End Result - Cancelled the day and failed to inform us until we had driven over 2 hours to get there, went through all the Silverstone checkpoints and reached the sign on desk. Day wasted. With a cafe on site you think they'd have the decency to offer a free sandwhich and a coffee for your return journey.....but no...turned around with an email address to follow up with.

Booking your ticket with a voucher code is a massive chore (online tool gets stuck in a loop and requires several emails to simply make your booking), they also changed the service booked on the voucher (a cheaper one), refunded the difference via credit (that's right they didn't refund the money back to the account but rather keep it in their pockets)
Staff on desk are of no use less giving you a 🤷‍♂️.

No phone number to speak to anyone when you do have a problem and deal with you at arms reach via email.

£60 in fuel and a Sunday wasted thanks to Drive Silverstone.
look forward to the standard 'sorry for your experience and a list of corporate excuses reply.

Shame on Silverstone

As others below have said: Avoid! They rename experiences and then refuse to honour valid vouchers as it's a "different experience". Whilst you can still buy vouchers online, when you then try to book it, it generates an email to a customer service agent who says it's been discontinued. Well, this certainly was a Silverstone Experience.

I've been trying to get hold of someone on email for quite some time to discuss my booking and have had no response. There is also no number to call on. I've seen multiple reviews that are very similar, I'm requesting someone to please get in touch. Thank you

What a day....absolutely fantastic!

What a day....absolutely fantastic!
We felt like VIPs from the moment we arrived.
The coaching from Ollie was excellent and I learnt so much on how to control a car in difficult circumstances. I would certainly recommend the experience from the driving to the food. All 5* and certainly worth the money.

Do not book this. There is no contact with silverstone during the booking process. All emails unanswered. Impossible people to deal with.
