oppened the free web site not good

oppened the free web site , put down shop did not like it and decided to give it a miss no money involved , except for 1.00 for domain name , then on March the 12 the took nigh on 40.00 of my account . I did not apply for a paid site .. tried the phone number it didnt work and e-mails ignored. Daft me used a debit card instead of credit card. Blocked all payments but still fighting to get my money back . Do not trust this firm

Please note that SimpleSite offers a basic free plan for unlimited time, to give our users the chance to get to know our product better, before deciding to upgrade to our paid PRO plan.

To upgrade to PRO and register for a paid subscription, you need to log in to your website editor, select your domain name, accept the terms of use (otherwise our system will not allow you to continue), and manually enter the card information for the initial payment.

During the registration process, we show the information about our payment structure and the automatic payment service. This information is also included in our Terms of Use, which you had to accept to proceed with the initial payment.

SimpleSite also sends registration emails, which confirm your website and payment plan, including our contact details, so you can reach out to our customer service at any time.

It is unfortunate if you didn’t take some time to read the information we supplied or if there was any misunderstanding.

We've checked our records but could not find any communication related to the name you are currently writing from. We therefore advice you to email us directly to customerservice@simplesite.com. You will receive a confirmation email when your email has been received. We reimburse all payments made within the last 14 days.

Our team will be happy to check if you're eligible for a refund and help you cancel your subscription.

I have been extremely satisfied with…

I have been extremely satisfied with the service. Our organization went through some internal structural changes including (COVID Death) and I have personally suspended the site for a while with plans to re-activate again soon. Thanks for the service you provide. It is more than satisfactory.

Simplesite is simply awesome!

My experience with Simplesite over the last year and a half has been really great, the website was very easy to set up and is easy to maintain. The site editor is easy to navigate even if you have no experience with these sorts of things. Simplesite’s customer service is great, email responses are clear and tell me how to solve my issue step by step; i even managed to put one of my songs on my site, once i had set up a you tube channel. I never thought i would be able to do my own site but it has been very straight forward, and i now have had nearly 8700 views which is more than i ever hoped for. Also the Simplesite site is not expensive. I’m in Australia and get email support usually within 24 hours when i need it. That little breathing space is a good thing. My next thing i want to do is add a ‘donate’ button through paypal....

Last year I asked Simple Site for new…

Last year I asked Simple Site for new pages which they gave me, however, those pages were added at the beginning of the Website. I was told that one of the first pages in the Website was too long and that it was necessary to begin new pages at the top of the Blog. I would rather add new pages at the bottom of the Blog because I am now more experienced at making the content of the new pages smaller. Also any new content should be in chronological order from my first entries at the beginning where they are now and as new information is added it is better to add it at the bottom where new information is included and developed. It is true that once you add too much content to one single page, it can become impossible to load in your in your editor. If this page has been split into smaller subpages, then it is possible to create new pages and place them wherever you like (bottom or top doesn't matter!). Our advice is to simply divide the content over several pages to avoid upload issue in the future.

It's possible to adjust where you place the content on your website by using the content sections and moving them on the page (up or down) to where you want them.

It's supposed to be Simple!

As the creators of Simplesite have pointed out, this site is Not Supposed to offer widgets, that is why it is simple.
Overall it is a piece of cake to create and maintain a website here. If I were not so stubborn, then I would use Simplesite templates which look great but making my own pages from scratch is, well, Simple!

SimpleSite are always so helpful and quick

I sent SimpleSite an enquiry about our storage limit, as I had had a message that I couldn't upload any more attachments.
They answered within a day, as they generally do, and explained in layman's terms that it was only a temporary security limit to stop huge malware uploads. They immediately increased our limit and I have been able to add more PDF attachments to our website.
SimpleSite are always prompt, friendly and efficient and always so helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Do you mean that they do not see your website when they type in the domain in the browser? Or do you mean they cannot find you on Google? Or do you mean that you are not getting interaction/ visitors / purchases to and on your website?

There are so many different ways how this could be interpreted and how external things can affect your website.

If your website is not online, please contact our customer service by sending an email to customerservice@simplesite.com. They can check why your website/ domain name is not active.

If your clients cannot find you on Google this may be because Google will show your site as a search result based on your site's relevance in relation to the search made.

It's very important that you put in the right work, to create engage on your website. SimpleSite provides the website template, but it's up to the user to make it succesful. You can do online and offline marketing, word-of-mouth, improve your SEO, use social media and create a website with good and engaging content that can help you become more visible online!
