Absolutely horrible Customer Service and Website
Absolutely horrible. Been a subscriber since 2018 and each year when I go to renew, the website gives numerous "technical difficulties" and then when you try to reach out to customer service, you get a run-a-round and a bunch of garbage. Be prepared to waste at least 1 hour of your day trying to get something as simple as linking your radio to your account or making changes to your account. Add on top of that, the headache of trying to negotiate a better price and you will be left wanting to kill yourself. I highly doubt I will renew once this year's one year subscription is up.
Terrible!
Terrible! Trying to listen to MSNOW is impossible because of the high tinny sound when people talk, almost like added metal scraping noise. Much worse than just interference which tends to be constant. This is only when someone is talking. Of course the company has never heard of this complaint, I'm the only one so it's difficult to solve. Just searched the problem and it's a widespread well known problem due the the company squeezing the band width to save money. LIARS!
Cancelling account was a nightmare and now am NEVER RETURNING!
I wanted to cancel my account and spent over 30 minutes through an online BOT and then 2 people (possibly BOTS) by their continued lack of interest in responding to my request to cancel. The responses continued to post promotion items when I was very clear that all I wanted to do was cancel. originally I likely would have returned to Sirius as I like programming - now after this experience - NEVER RETURNING AS A CUSTOMER!!!!
Service is garbage
Service is garbage. Impossible to cancel . And even after cancelling they keep calling with shitty offers for their shitty satellite radio.
Worst service ever
Worst service ever, I had transferred both subcribtions for my 2 new cars and my wife did not want to bother me with it but i found out it was never activated in her car, been paying for 2 months... Had similar troubles with 2-3 other vehicles, now I waited on the line for more than 30 minutes and agreed to the option of them calling me back when available. They called back 10 minutes after and I was still waiting for another half hour with no one picking up the line. Tried the online bot which tell me to go in the car and wait for a signal refresh and when I came back, the chat was off and the bot gone... Signal refresh did not work now i'm writing this review hoping that fewer people get ripped off by that lame company, I will send a registered letter to end my 2 accounts, no one would answer the phone anyways... Bunch of crooks.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. These people should not be trusted with your personal information. There support team repeats to me after i provide them with my information. Then I submit the information and they repeat to me again please give me all your details. I had them repeat the same thing 3 times.Like theres no need to put me through the ringers like that they even said there looking at the previous chats but there still wasting my resources. repeating this phrase essentially : give me all your information or your going to be paying charges. its like someone just decided that because i want to cancel there free trial subsription they can act like a bunch of robo cops. They play games with my information telling me to moderate myself here give me information here and there like for crying out loud its a online radio platform, not the doctors office you people should be change your system to allow better privacy and to allow people to cancel online without having to chat with you outrageous support crew.
Impossible to access your own account
I’ve rarely had an experience this frustrating with a paid service.
I signed up for a SiriusXM subscription at a promotional rate (about $5/month). Everything seemed fine at first, until I tried to actually log in and use the service.
That’s where things completely broke down.
First issue: I was never given my full account number. The confirmation email only shows the last four digits, which makes it difficult to verify or manage the account. I contacted support multiple times and no one could provide it.
Second issue: login access. SiriusXM can find my account when I enter my email and username, but I still can’t actually log in. It turns into a circular process:
Enter name and email
System finds my account
Click “Listen Now”
Get redirected to a page trying to sell me a subscription I already have (and for 3x what I'm currently paying!)
I canceled my service out of frustration, then re-subscribed thinking it would reset things and fix the issue. It didn’t. Same problems all over again.
At this point, I’m paying for a service I cannot properly access or manage.
This isn’t just a minor glitch. It feels like basic account access is unnecessarily difficult, whether by design or by poor system integration. Either way, it’s unacceptable for a subscription service.
I will be filing a complaint with my State Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. If others are having similar experiences, I would encourage you to do the same. Companies shouldn’t be allowed to bill customers while making it this hard to access or control their own accounts.
Very disappointing experience overall.
Is not worth it
Nothing is worth it on their service starting with the customer service and finish with the quality of the radio broadcast.
Literally ALMOST impossible to cancel
Literally impossible to cancel, they hide it behind a must-call system or chatbot. Then bombard you with endless ways to try to keep you as a customer, how you can't just change or cancel on the website is insane.
Stayed as a customer for our vehicle we barely drive, because they offered 55% off, then after a year they more than doubled it with no email warning, nothing. Then it took endless chatbot interaction with auto-reply offers to keep us subbed while I insisted on cancelling. They ended up getting down to almost 70% off, so anybody looking for cheap SiriusXM, just threaten to cancel. We just dont drive the vehicle that much at all, so didn't make any sense for us to stay, even at $7/mo.
Brutal it should not be that hard
I would give zero stars if possible
I would give zero stars if possible. I paid the monthly payment on March 11 for service through April 11. I am selling the car end of April and sirriusxm was raising the price on April 12 from $5 to $25 so I cancelled service effective April 12. On April 4 sirriusxm charged my credit card for Another month even though it was paid through April 11. I called and disputed the charge the same day. April 6 they discontinued the service paid for through April 11. Piece of xxxx company.
I love the service but the billing is…
I love the service but the billing is frigging horrendous!! I live on a fixed income, get paid once a month which is extremely difficult and need my payment taken out after a certain day. I have requested this several times and even let the subscription expire until many days after this date, but they take payment whenever and when I dont have funds to cover it. Then it costs me 25.00 over and above the 18.00 charge. This has happened several times and just happened again. Cannot remove credit card info from site - so I just canceled. Not worth the expense or aggravation.
Cancelled subscription on line march…
Cancelled subscription on line march 3rd due to increase. April 2nd a charge was processed for higher amount. Called and got AI..was told nothing in record for march but did cancel this month. They tried to hard sell twice for lower amounts..from 25.99 to 6.99. If lower price can be offered then it should be, not the higher price. I don’t like being taken advantage of.

I received a 3 month trial from our Ford dealer for a service issue. Went online and the radio is eligible, but when I entered my email and signed in, it would only call up the radio we do have sirius on, not the one I was trying to activate. So I called, talked to the AI who said it will pass me to a live person, sat on hold for over 15 minutes, hung up. We have sirius on one car and on our others, we do not and will not be adding it to others. Poor service to an existing customer.
Shady Company
I've paid for a 6 month subscription only to have my service cut off twice in a 30 day span of time AFTER paying. I really feel like at this point Sirius is trying to trick me into paying for the same subscription twice.
They seem to forget all their customers are paying for a service they can get for free(radio). Also as time goes by their music channels are devoting more & more airtime to TALK not music!!! I think it's time to get rid of this shady company and go back to listening to FREE music as we all did before siriusxm ever existed.
Scam
Scam. They auto renew on a promotional offer, a month before they are supposed to. Charging $33.28 for a monthly subscription that was supposed to be $18.68. When called “support” the guy kept us on the line for 45 minutes, not listening to my wife when she wanted to cancel the subscription. Another clown came on and tried to tell us that we have another active subscription. Never again with Sirius, worst company ever to deal with. No wonder why they have a 1.2 rating on trustpilot.
I like channel 73 except for the DJ
I like channel 73 except for the DJ. I pay to not have ads or DJs that are boring and speak too much. If this continues I will cancel my subscription.
THE WORST experience ever..
THE WORST experience ever..
useless service.. anything that is on here is available for free.. they give you free trials when checking out at many online stores and then you have to jump through hoops to cancel it! any company that makes canceling a subscription harder than a few clicks is a SCAM!
How is it legal for them to sign me up…
How is it legal for them to sign me up for a $9.99 service and then without notice switch it to $33 / mth?
THEN you can't just log in and cancel the service like every other service (except Bell). They make it so hard to cancel.
There is literally no value to this service with Spotify, which has so much more functionality.
At the end of the eight hour “Sleep” or…
At the end of the eight hour “Sleep” or “Wellness” content, you get jolted by extremely loud commercials. Really?
Spent over an hour trying to get the…
Spent over an hour trying to get the same promo I had last year. I was lied to at least 10 times , talked down to, and told I needed to pay the new price, until I found the promo code online, then it was like opening the gates or Sirius with my secret code. Disgusting & disappointing customer service. Choke on my $9 a month
