Great driver

Great driver. Traffic on the day was awful and he pulled every move to get us to the resort as quick as possible. Some people took more than 2 hours longer than we did! Top work

Professional, courteous service

This is our 2nd year of using Skicab, and the service was just as good as last year.
Both drivers, Frederic and Francis were professional, courteous and we felt safe with their driving.
If we return to Lauterbrunnen/Wengen we will definitely use them again.

Excellent would use again

We have used Skicab twice and both times we have received a very professional service. From booking the transfer service on the website to meeting our driver at the airport, it was extremely easy. Our booking was confirmed and details of the transfer provided 3 days before our flight. This time our flight was delayed, however this was no problem for Skicab who were watching our flight time and were greeted with a smile at the airport. Would not hesitate in recommending and we will be using Skicab again 😊

First and last time using skicab.com

First time using skicab.com, booked by my brother-in/-law.

We’re a group of 7, 3 adults and 4 young kids. We caught a 7am flight from the UK, which required a 4am start - which is a lot for young kids.

Our scheduled pick up was 9:35 from Geneva. The ‘premium taxi’ didn’t arrive until 12:05, 2.5 hours late. We missed all the benefit of an early start, and caught all the traffic from later flights.

On arrival the ‘premium transfer’ turned out to be a Citroen Jumpy, which is a very small minivan with very limited boot space. We were at no point informed a smaller vehicle was being sent or there was an issue with the original vehicle.

The suitcases had to piled up and placed on the seats between the children and between their legs. Leaving two adults to share a small bench in the front cab, with limited leg room.

Neither the service or vehicle were premium, it took 4 hours to get to the resort - having paid €1550 for a return trip.

The drivers mobile sat nav didn’t work in Switzerland, we got lost twice - so after navigating him myself for the first part of the journey he spent much of the time on the phone or sending WhatsApp messages. Dangerous and illegal driving.

The customer service via WhatsApp suggested we pay the driver €200 less, which put us in the uncomfortable position of having to negotiate with the driver when they had taken a €600 deposit for the journey.

My first time using Skicab, and my summary is that it’s a lottery. You have no idea of what you’re going to get, especially at busy times of the year. Our driver came all the way from Lyon, had very little knowledge or experience of Geneva or the roads.

My summary - book a specialist, don’t roll the dice. Especially when travelling with children or if you want to maximise your time on the mountain. We’ve lost a day, and had a very unenjoyable start to the holiday.

Probably why they don’t have a Google profile for reviews !!

We have so far been refunded €200 and our return trip has been cancelled. We wait to see what refund Skicab.com will offer for cancelling the return journey.

You have not booked this transfer by yourself. Your friend booked a premium Mercedes minivan, unfortunately the vehicle planned for your transfer Saturday 10th had a trouble at the last-minute and could not be used. In urgency, the driver managed to find another vehicle to ensure your transfer, but it was not a Mercedes and it arrived at 12:00 instead of 10:30 (flight ETA 09:35 arrived at 10:00 + one hour to get the luggage). You have wait about one hour, not more.

As you should know Saturdays in February are extremely busy, so it's very difficult these days to deal with flights delayed, traffic jams and unfortunately eventual trouble with a vehicle. Unlike others, we always make our best to ensure all transfers and we never let people down at the airport.

Clearly we should have asked you, before sending another vehicle, if you agreed to wait and travel in a another brand than Mercedes. The driver made his best and hasn't informed our customer service, this was a mistake, he was very stressed and only wanted to find a solution in urgency.

At about 12:15 just after getting in the vehicle, you have sent me messages and called to complain about the vehicle. I have contacted the driver instantly and realized the mistake. 

Very quickly, we have replied and taken off 200€ from the fare, this made the fare as a "comfort" vehicle instead of "premium". We had no more messages and you arrived safely in the ski resort.

You had more luggage than allowed (as on our TCs) and the luggage room would have been the same or even worse in the Mercedes.

You have not lost a day, landing at Geneva airport at 10:00, with the traffic in February, you would never arrive early enough in Les Menuires to ski.

We won't argue about all the other "comments", the driver says it's wrong, he says you were very rude.

These Saturdays in February are very stressful, flights delays, traffic jams... we always try to make our best, even if sometimes it's really difficult for everyone.

Enjoy your skiing time, very sunny week, you're lucky!

Chambery to Tigne and back

We got skican transfers to and from
Tigne. It was the first time travelling with our 4 month old so extra cautious about timings etc.

Both trips saw the drivers be on time, easy to find us and had then baby seat with them. There was a lot of traffic due to protests and the drivers found the best route on local roads.

Reliable, on time and a great driver.

We travelled from Geneva Airport to Méribel and then made the return journey a week later. Our driver was on time on both occasions, was very polite and importantly was a careful driver. We made a stop at our request to buy breakfast on the way back. I will travel with ski cab again next year.

Geneva to Valmorel transfer

Geneva to Valmorel transfer. We used them back and forth. At the airport: on time and clear communication. They were trustworthy, fair pricing, on time and extremely friendly drivers. Even with some language barriers we managed well with the owner on the phone, and Google translate. The driver on the way back was very much on time but did not rush us into leaving. Both rides had the appropriate car seats for the kids. Highly recommended.

Skicab - efficient and friendly

Skicab website is very easy to use and the staff are responsive, friendly and efficient. There’s a simple process to advise on changes to travel. This made our transfer stress free despite a two hour flight delay. The car was new, clean and comfortable and the driver very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic service both ways 😃

Absolutely brilliant service.
Our driver, Matthew, was waiting for us in arrivals. It took 5 mins to get to the car and we had a very comfortable ride to our destination.

The return journey a week later was equally as good. Our driver sent a message to let us know she was waiting to pick us up outside (10 mins early).

Very easy to book.Once they have your details they keep you updated on your booking. Very impressed and I WILL use them again.
