My wife and I had to wait over an hour in getting skis and again giving them back. Did not save money when compared with what French visitors paid.
However I also had my skis stolen on the last day and took out the insurance with Skidiscount rather than Precision Ski in resort. As a consequence I had to pay for them and claim back on Ski Discounts Frence insurers. 3 weeks later I am still waiting for the money.

Going skiing again in April and will get skis in resort as it is cheaper and will take out local insurance

We recently hired kids skis for a week in Cauterets. Unfortunately due to bad weather the whole station was officially closed for a total of 4 days.( we had the station write us an Attestation as proof.).
After many emails I finally got a reply from Ski Discount regarding a refund.. They quoted : SPORT 2000 considers that the kid zone was opened all the week in Cauterets. So I will be charged for the equipment for the 6 days.
This is not true and in fact we got a refund for our ski passes from the ski station and a ski school refund..
Ski Discount did give us a partial refund and a voucher, but not a full refund for the 4 days of total closure, which I was not happy about.

There was some confusion in the shop about the level of ski I had paid for as the scale Ski Discount uses was not the same as theirs.

Very easy to do, great prices, equipment is waiting for you on arrival, great staff.

On arrival at the ski shop, we found that we had paid much more through "ski discount" than we would have had to pay at the shop itself.
The shop - online and in store - give free hire for a child under 10 with each adult renting equipment.
I have emailed ski discount twice setting this out. They have not replied.

The service was fast and personable. When I wanted to change skis after 2 days they did so without hesitation and told me to come back as often as needed. Great value for money and top notch equipment.
The only issue was finding the shop in the first place. Even locals did not know it when I asked. That is because the shop is actually 'Sport 2000' rather than Top Sports as per the name on the voucher. Both names should be printed to avoid the confusion. It took me half an hour of wandering around on my first morning before I located it.

Booked skis last minute, got a better price and from a shop a lot closer than the other guys on the trip! Great service and quality as well. Will use again.

I was very pleased with the recommendation from Ski Discount. I secured a very good pair of skis for a week at an excellent price.

Good first-time experience. Hired snowboard equipment for the weekend in Chamonix from Coquoz sport. Order was hassle-free and good value for money.

Easy transaction, no issues at the hire shop. Simple and easy

Expected to be able to just head out onto the slopes. Ski Pass failed at lifts and had to spent a couple of hours getting a re-issued new card. And no it was not near any other cards, phones etc that might have affected it.

Hired skis from Ardent Sports via SnoBrainer. Couldn't have wished for a better service. I hired top- of- the range performance skis & they were just that ~ AND. . . . cost two thirds of other quotes I had! Both the discount Firm & the provider, Ardent from Montriond, Morzine were brilliant, thank you.
Will use again & recommend to all!

The service I received was both professional and friendly. I would recommend Skidiscount without hesitation.

I have managed to save more than half price compared with ski hires at the shop. I have even made the booking the evening before so no need for early booking to keep my options open. The only inconvenice was the obligation to print the confirmation which can be difficult if you need to find a place to print. My hotel was kind enough to print a copy for me but I would expect in this day and age of e-tickets we should be given the option of just showing the e-ticket to the shop to scan the bar code or QR code from an email confirmation or the app of skidiscount.
