My 2 friends and I booked a holiday to…
My 2 friends and I booked a holiday to Scotland.
The holiday cost was about £1500 each, which we had paid in full as required by the booking conditions.
It was to be a trip of a lifetime.
Skills cancelled the holiday on 4th April a little over 4 weeks before the holiday was to take place.
Today on 13 April we have not received a refund of monies paid despite being told by Skills staff a week ago that refund had been processed.
This is very worrying for us we cannot afford to loose this money.
Beware.
UPDATE ON MY REVIEW
I have just received a phone call from a lady at Skills.
The lady was very helpful and our refunds are being processed today so hopefully the money will be in our bank accounts in the next couple of days. It’s just a shame the this wasn’t done earlier, it would have saved us a lot of worry.
Apologies were given and accepted by us.

Very nice day out. Coach comfortable and spotless. Driver great and kept everyone up to date as to to time frame etc. Will certainly look for another trip to take in the future

The booking assistant in the shop was very helpful and had a friendly disposition.
It made booking easy, which was not the case when I tried to book on line, couldn't get past the seat location section. So it cost me more, as I couldn't get the online price from the office. Not the fault of the lady assistant as she is not allowed to offer the same price.

I visited the Skills branch every month to make a payment.
On all 4 occasions I found the staff polite, knowledgeable & courteous.
Myself & husband are looking forward to our belated 'honeymoon' in June.

It was a lovely weekend. Hotel staff food and rooms were great.
The excursion to Sunderland was a let down. More time in Beamish was needed.

Had two excellent drivers they very helpful and friendly. It was a good day in wales. But the pick up could be better nearly for foot passeners for using pubilc transport for on and off.
