Never RUSHED

I visited the clinic yesterday morning for the first time. Dr Cedric was wonderful. He was patient and did not rush me. He LISTENED! My concerns were immediately investigated and unfortunately I needed 4 biopsies. Thankfully they could book me in for the procedures that afternoon. I needed part of my head shaved …. Not pleasant for a woman but Ivy (nurse/receptionist) kept me distracted with her pleasant conversations while shaving and anaesthetising the areas needed. Having to have 2 biopsies off my head and 2 off my nose had obviously some pain but she was gentle and explained what she was doing all the time. Cedric also explained the procedure while he preformed the biopsies. At all times Cedric and Ivy were concerned about ME, my comfort and my understanding of the procedure was top priority to them. So happy with the whole experience.

UPDATE: I recently returned to the clinic due to the results of my biopsies and had to undergo two major procedures. I cannot recommend them highly enough.First, I had a skin graft taken from the side of my face and placed on my nose. I was a bit anxious, but both doctors kept me completely calm and relaxed. They maintained a constant, quiet chatter about normal, everyday life while preforming the procedure. It is hard to explain, but it allowed me to completely zone out and feel safe. Second, after long discussions, I decided to go ahead with the recommended PDT treatment. I had very real trepidation about this, but looking back, it was the right choice. To be honest, the treatment was not pleasant and I did experience some pain, but it was absolutely bearable. My recovery was uneventful except for some unexpected dry, stinging eyes. When the nurse called to check on me, she arranged for the doctor to ring me back regarding this issue. The doctor was wonderful, reassured me this was normal, and recommended eye drops that worked a treat. The ongoing care here is truly exceptional. A word of advice …. pick music that is lively and familiar, it definitely helps you be distracted while under the PDT Light. Thank you. And Ivy don’t ever change. Your bright and chatty personality makes such a difference
