"What a Beauty"

This beauty business is simply a gem. It's always a pleasure to go there, starting from the receptionists who are always friendly and very welcoming. Allira and other staff members who perform the treatments are very knowledgeable and very professional. They always give you realistic expectations and always go the extra mile to please me. I always walk out feeling happy knowing I'm giving my skin the best possible treatments, and products and would have no hesitation recommending this place to others who comment on my youthful appearance.

Severe burns to face

I recently went here on a voucher. I was very impressed with the staff members.. They were polite and friendly. I was quite unimpressed with the products they use for their peels.. best to ask them the name or see the bottle before they put it on your face as this product is one you can buy online for 18 dollars.

I was left with some harsh burns to face which are almost healed ( 5 weeks later). I had to go to another clinic in the area who have done some therapy on my face to heal my skin. This clinic did offer me some blue light therapy as complimentary gesture.. However I decided not to take it up as my work hours conflicted and I was still very disappointed to have to go back. I was not offered a refund. I asked for a refund via email and it was ignored. I have sent them two emails and no replies.

I ask that this clinic treat their customer better.. If you burn someones face with a peel that was too strong or left too long.. You should be compensating them and apologising. I was not treated properly and for this reason I ask people to exercise caution should they choose this clinic. Good luck to all and ask questions . Professional friendly staff does not always mean a quality treatment.

Professional friendly staff with fantastic results,

I found skin DNA through a friend, i've been to several different clinics in my time for various procedures. I found the professionalism and hospitality to be outstanding ! Every option and procedure was clearly explained without any sign of a hard sell I've experienced in other places. Allira my technician took the time to answer all of my questions and explain things very clearly.
The whole experience was absolutely fantastic and the results unbelievable I had An anti-wrinkle procedure in my forehead and it is the best I've ever had. I've paid a lot more other clinics and not got anywhere near the same result.
I highly recommend skinDNA for their professionalism their pricing and the results.

Newcastle - Sydney worth it? YES!!!!

I do not normally right reviews, however..... having been to numerous cosmetic clinicians’, in the Newcastle and central coast areas, over a 6 year period, I just couldn’t find “the one”. Until I received an email from living social, an offer to good to ignore.. Yes it was in Sydney, but the price was justifiable for my time and travel.
Well that was nearly 2 years ago.....I now travel, enthusiastically on a regular basis, to visit the beautiful and talented Allira. I finally found “the one”
Over this period, I have had numerous treatments offered by the clinic, all administered by Allira..... I can truly say, my skin is looking and feeling amazing the best it has ever!! I am 46. I found at most clinics I felt very uncomfortable, embarrassed a little .. not so here, I was made to feel comfortable from the very beginning.
Oh 1 more small thing I love, most companies will lead you in by a discounted rate, then once you are in you receive NOTHING...Well yet again this company is different, AS A CLIENT I am offered regular discounts and packages suitable for me by email and sms.
I have and will continue to recommend SkinDNA Sydney to family and friends.
A big thank you to Stefan, Allira and the lovely girls hitting the world by storm!!

Best and most innovative treatment centre in Sydney

SkinDNA is hands down the best cosmetic injectables clinic I have ever been too (and i have been to many). Allira is the best in her field. She knows how to apply products in a way that enhance your natural beauty without overriding it. Also she provides a comfortable and flexible environment meeting your personal needs. I will never go elsewhere and always recommend Allira from SkinDNA. Ohh and the vampire facial. Is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

This place is just awesome - i wish i could give it 10 stars

I don't write reviews. I am not that sort of person. But trust me when I say, this company deserves one.

I had initially gone to the clinic last year. My first impression like others was "wow, this is SMALL" it was cubby-hole of an operation. But the service was great and the staff were friendly.

I decided to come back for a few more RF treatments. They worked so well I wanted to lift up again. I was surprised when I rocked up to find a note on the door of the clnic they had moved across the street so -- off I went.

OK they are no longer "small" The place is HUGE. But what was even more amazing was they moved their SkinDNA Testing Laboratory inside the clinic with clear windows so you can actually SEE the testing. If you do nothing else just walk in and look its all there right in front of you.

Anyway, the service was impeccable. The nurse that did my treatment was amazing and well hey - i'm a customer for life now.

Thank you.

Since when did a beauty treatment turn into a social event?

Tucked away on the busy city streets of Sydney is a doorway that opens to a personalised event!
Stefan leads a professional team who treat their clients as individuals. They personalise, they care, they welcome. It is a doorway that I would gladly walk through again and would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

disappointing

I feel that Living Social sometimes have offers for businesses that just want to get an influx of money.
Though I was greeted pleasantly on arrival by the receptionist one of the cosmeticians had left their lunch & coffee in the waiting area. My appointment was on time but I entered a very poky room with a maximum of 1.5 feet space around the bed. As I sat down on the bed and handed a mirror I was asked to look at my forehead and look how "very deep" my wrinkles were (as if I had no concept of this, for being in my mid forties I consider myself average wrinkle depth) and was told that the Anti Wrinkle Injections offered in the Living Social deal for 2 areas were "simply only enough to treat my frown lines" but that she "would throw in an extra 2 units for the crease in between my eyes" (this was conveniently forgotten).
My next cause for anxiety was when the cosmetician explained to me: "We've been going through things so fast that all I have to use it these giant sized gloves".
I questioned this as she was about to insert needles into my face!
After the injections I was quoted $270 (discount price for the same area if returning) whereas my local Clarins Sanctuary offers specials on frown lines only for $80.
My final complaint is that I was emailed a receipt for $0.00 (i had paid $145 through Living Social). I replied to request a receipt stating the area treated and the units of botox used (I was told 20 units but how would you know?).
I await this receipt without much hope.

Reply from SkinDNA Clinics

Dear Felicity,

Thank you for the feedback regarding your experience.

I thought I would like to take the opportunity to highlight some of your points and also let you know the changes we have made ☺

1. Left their lunch & coffee in the waiting area.

We have dealt with this matter and rest assured this is something that will not happen again ☺

2. I was handed a mirror I was asked to look at my forehead look how "very deep" my wrinkles were (as if I had no concept of this, for being in my mid forties I consider myself average wrinkle depth.

It is treatment protocol to have the customer look at themselves in the mirror as sometimes it’s not always clear the main concerns that the customer would like to correct. We apologize if the conversation made you feel uncomfortable and will be working with the girls to create an alternative dialogue.

3. I was told that the Anti Wrinkle Injections offered in the Living Social deal for 2 areas were "simply only enough to treat my frown lines"

The anti-wrinkle promotion was for 2 areas and outlined on the SkinDNA info link is what 2 areas is equivalent to. We have also included visual diagrams to show the approximate quantity used to treat various areas so you can pre-plan before your purchase and visit. We do also note on the same page that “if you want to substitute and just have 20 units in the one area that's ok by us”
Please see link attached. http://skindnaclinics.com.au/livingsocial.php

Our job is to give you the best possible result, the talent we have injecting are great at giving bang for your buck. Had our cosmetician given you a lower dosage in the area the result would not be satisfactory.

Your main concern as outlined was your forehead and given the quantity of the promotion, our cosmetician did what was necessary to give the best possible result.

4. My next cause for anxiety was when the cosmetician explained to me: "We've been going through things so fast that all I have to use it these giant sized gloves".

We sincerely apologise for the anxiety that may have been caused but rest assured glove size is a personal request from the staff and in no way affects the treatment.
Due to the weather, our shipment was delayed so I had personally gone to the shipping depot to pick up the gloves as well as some extra supplies.

5. After the injections I was quoted $270 (discount price for the same area if returning) whereas my local Clarins Sanctuary offers specials on frown lines only for $80.

At SkinDNA clinics we make it our aim to be as informative as possible. On the living social voucher it notes that by returning in 3 months time you will have the opportunity to receive the same promotion e.g. $145 instead of $290.
I have tried to locate Clairns sanctuary to find out their promotion as well as quantity but was unable to locate them.
If they are charging $80 for the frown then one of 2 things can be assumed – they are giving you a maximum of 8-10 Botox equivalent units which is well below the recommend dosage or they’re making a big loss. The moment I find their details I’ll be able to update the outcome

6. My final complaint is that I was emailed a receipt for $0.00 (i had paid $145 through Living Social).

As the purchase was made through living we cannot give you a tax invoice that shows you paid $145 as the transaction is owned by living social. I have spoken to them today and they assured me that you would have received a receipt via email of your purchase.

In saying this I will be more than happy to write a letter to you acknowledging the total quantity you had including the complementary dosage for your filing.

I do thank you for raising your concerns as it has highlighted several things that needed to be addressed in clinic ☺

I would be more than happy to discuss further via this review site or directly at Stefan@skindnaclinics.com.au.
