Overpriced, not as described, refused return…

Product received was completely different to image on website. Different colour. Cheap trash from China. Emma the ‘customer service’ refused to allow a return except at my cost to Europe and based on previous reviews it seems even if I was to incur this excessive cost the return process would be problematic too. Avoid this company the products are overpriced and not as described.

The cover you received was the correct model and color ordered, produced in our workshop in Montpellier in the south of France using premium fabric.

Our products are not sourced from China. They are handmade in France by our team, which is clearly stated on our website.


As explained during our email exchanges and as our covers are not printed on photographic paper, the final result may differ slightly from what you see on screen.

Fabric colors can appear different depending on lighting conditions and surroundings. This does not mean the product is incorrect or not as described, and there was no manufacturing defect in your case regarding the photo.


We never refused a return. We simply applied our standard return policy, which states that when a product is compliant, return shipping is at the customer’s expense. This policy is the same for all customers and is communicated clearly before purchase.


We regret that this experience did not meet your expectations. However, we believe it is important to provide an accurate and factual account for future customers.

I love my Skiniplay speaker wardrobe!

I've purchased two Skiniplay covers for my A9 over the years - I have the cowskin and a Christmas tree. I LOVE them. It's nice to be able to change the look so easily, and they both look as good as the day I bought them - the cowskin was quite a few years ago! They might get a little dusty (not visible though), and a good shake outside cleans them up quickly. I highly recommend this special luxury for your beautiful B&O speakers.

Custome made skin

We have ordered custom made skin. The one which is printed based on the image we have shared and it came out a little not so vibrant as a photo was. Other things like quality looks okay :) also updating my review because of good customer service

I ordered a speaker cover from…

I ordered a speaker cover from SkiniPlay and was extremely disappointed with what I received. The final product looked nothing like the image shown during checkout — the colors were dull, washed out, and completely different from the preview.

SkiniPlay blames the issue on color formatting (RGB vs. CMYK), which they never warned me about at the time of ordering. As a regular customer, not a graphic designer, I followed their process and expected the product to match what I saw.

When I reached out, they refused to take responsibility and hid behind a “custom item” no-refund policy. For a company charging premium prices, I expected much better transparency and customer service.

Would not recommend — be cautious if you’re ordering anything custom.

Top quality!

Quick delivery, great product. I bought from another company first as it was slightly cheaper. My mistake as it came from China and the quality was poor. Not with Skiniplay, much better quality and made in France. I will 100% be buying from them again.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE AND WONT GIVE ME MY MIONEY FOR THE RETURN

I had big expectations on the covers on their website, but their customer service is a big JOKE!

I have bought 2 covers where 1 one of them needed to be returned. I was in contact with Emma from their customer service on e-mail and I had to pay for the return myself.

I have sent the package back with DHL for 150 kr. and I can see that they tried to deliver the product to their office, but had to take it to a near by package shop to be picked up later.

I have written several times to their customer service without any answer to pick up the package and return my money. But no answer.

This is simply very bad customer service and I will never buy from you again. I have lost 150€ that I will get back.
