DO NOT TRUST SKIPLAGGED - SCAMMERS!!!

DO NOT TRUST SKIPLAGGED. SCAMMERS!!!!!

I booked a hotel through the site. My reservation clearly stated that this hotel was “fully refundable before midnight of XX date” so I confidently booked it. My plans ended up changing so I went to cancel well before the deadline and conveniently the site kept running into an “error” and would not allow me to cancel (I tried about a dozen times over the course of two days). So I screenshot the error and emailed Skiplagged (because they also conveniently do not have a phone number!!!) to let them know that I was coming across this error and that the time stamp on my email would prove that I was canceling well before the deadline. They responded by feeding me some BS that they were “trying to get in touch with the hotel and they were going to SEE if they could cancel my reservation” which is not how this should work. I should get refunded and they can deal with this so-called “issue” with cancelling on their end - because ”fully refundable before xx date” is a promise that they made to me as a customer. After three or four attempts to follow up over the course of several days (where each time, they kept feeding me that same line that they were “attempting to get in touch with the hotel”), I got fed up and contacted my credit card and let them know that it was not an authorized charge. I will then went back to Skiplagged to let them know that what they were doing is a complete violation of their policy and that I had launched an investigation through my credit card and they never even bothered to respond ever again - and, of course, they did not ever resolve the issue.

So buyers beware! When you think you’re booking something that’s fully refundable, you’re actually being locked in and basically won’t be able to get out of it unless a third-party like your credit card steps in. LIES!!!

It's confusing

It's confusing. The pricing was confusing.
Why would the price be separated and why not give one price for a round trip ticket. The good thing is I checked and reviewed my email, I would have not booked the other way.
I click round trip so I though that it was a round trip price but when I read my email it was only one way. I was deceived by the price. All I thought, was I can only click once and pay once as I click round trip.
I hope you can be transparent at once.

I've booked with this company several times and shared it with family and friends and we all think this is the best and easiest company to fly with. I've never had an issue at the airport with tickets or anything!

Stay away from skipflagged!

At 10.15am 22 May, I called and spoke to Clark. I asked him how I could enter the credit card information ONCE for the
FLL/SYR/FLL flights on 17, 19 June.
He asked me if it was a one-way or return trip?

When I asked him to repeat my question, he hung up the phone!

Fantastic!

This was my first time using Skiplagged, and it went great. My only regret is that I didn't know about Skiplagged earlier.
