I had my first consultation with Alivia, she made me feel very comfortable from the beginning and talked me through everything, and made sure all my questions were answered. Im very excited to start my laser hair removal treatment with her! :)

So, to start with the positive. I feel like the doctor and nurse who took care of my skin problem were good, kind and helpful. They clearly explained everything that would happen, what to expect and ran through the aftercare with me.

However, they were running late by an hour, the fee structure for my treatment was confusing and felt like it had hidden fees which I didn't know until it came for paying for the treatment. I also would say that though they ran through the aftercare, they sent an aftercare 'generic' email which I think they use to cover all their skin treatments even though some of it wouldn't apply and it didn't include some of the stuff that they recommended to me so was a bit confusing.

The staff are always informative and friendly. It’s efficiently run and as pleasant an experience as it can be.

Absolutely hopeless. I've had 4 appointments in a row canceled and the SK:N clinic still have my deposit.

Each time they promise my deposit will be paid back. I am still waiting 1 month later since the 4th time they cancelled at the last minute.

It's the same every time I call to chase for my deposit: they send a message to the clinic manager, someone says they'll get back to me and then never does.
How is this a legal or at the very least, a professional practice?

I have raised many complaints with this company and have been told that the manager will contact me, the latest message I received from one of my reviews told me to wait 20 days for a reply still nothing. My last appointment even the staff at Bournemouth clinic are annoyed with the lack of management and staffing issues. Overall disappointing I feel sorry for the staff that are still at Bournemouth as they have no support

Skn have clinics all over the country but even when you ring your local clinic yuo are put through to a central call centre.

In February I rang them and booked a consultation with a doctor which costs £50. The lady on the centre informed me that I could then apply that £50 towards the cost of a treatment.

As they were already offering a 30% discount on a platinum hydrafacial which cost £157, reducing it to £109.90 I booked one. I then asked if I could apply the £50 towards the hydrafacial and was told yes, bringing the hydra facial down to £59.90.

I then was given an appointment for the consultation on Tuesday 28th February and the hydrafacial on Friday 3rd march. At short notice they rung me before the consultation to cancel it without rearranging it.

I then had the facial with which I have no complaint. Afterwards I was informed that £80 had been deducted on my credit card when I understood that £50 was taken and I would pay for the balance on the day of the facial.

The lady that treated me and the receptionist both told me I could still have the consultation at no additional cost and if I didn't proceed with any treatment then I was due a refund.

The manager for the Bournemouth branch is not based there but works out of Brighton. She contacted me and informed that I am not entitled to a consultation at no cost but it's available for another £50 deposit.

I will definitely not be dealing with this organisatiin again.
