Mental torture trying using their customer "service"
I'd rather go pull a teeth at the dentist - without anesthetics - than having to deal with sky issues. And their FxxxG chatbot!
Need to reset password. The reset link never appears.
And I need to login to use the chat!
And can't get a person on the phone.
Without Bundesliga Sky Germany would be out of business.
Cancelled my contract 3 months before…
Cancelled my contract 3 months before the end. And somehow, a Marcel Hoffart signed a new contract in my name. This is unacceptable. One month after, even more money is booked from my account. It seems there's some kind of internal inefficiency or a deliberate scam from the guys at Sky Germany. And I'm told I have to pay for their mistake? Nahhh!! These people are a joke.

Bad customer support and adds
Bad customer support, you can't reach them via chat, the chatbot is not helpful and it's hard to find any phone number.
Also you have to watch adds before every episode you want to watch even though they charge you a lot.
The Sky app on the receiver is also horrible. You can't fast forward or back, only in steps of one minute. It takes some time to find everything you watched and want to continue as well, as there are no favourites or a 'last watched' category like on Netflix.
Can't recommend sky as of now.

They raise bill without prior notice…
They raise bill without prior notice and make canceling a subscription the most difficult thing to do. They decided to only show the button to "extend" contract, you have to struggle to reach their never available customer service in order to cancel, even after my initial contract with them has completed, they won't allow me to easily cancel, terrible way to get money from people's pocket

Sharp Practice!
Without notice/notification - Sky Germany lock their customers in for a further period of 12 months. This is an example of "sharp practice". I have recently moved house (in Germany). The house I have purchased has no satellite infrastructure - and Telekom cannot provide a broadband service. The village is "cabled" and so Vodafone can provide what I need. I called Sky and have subsequently requested to cancel (written email as they requested). They have completely ignored my request. Shocking experience.

They buy exclusive rights to popular shows, and then make it close to impossible to watch them. Forget just signing up and watching immediately. Horrible experience. I hope they go bust.

Pure Rip-Off
Pure Rip-Off, was 2 times customer. Both times it got worse and worse. The offers, that they are 'offering' ain't true. They charge you for everything and kick you out of the contract. DON'T EVER SIGN ANY CONTRACT WITH THEM (I'm foreigner btw)

Bad service
The worst service I have got since I relocated to Germany, the customer service was active and responding when you want to subscribe to their service but are never available to respond after subscription. The IPTV box is useless and is stuck on updating software for the whole day, no online resource helps, support chat uses unhelpful automated response on all platforms. They only care about getting you into subscribing into the yearly contract and tell you to ***k off after that. The onboarding process is hard to follow, their website stops responding on chrome randomly and have to switch browsers, the IPTV can't be operated in any other language than German, the delivery took longer than promised. All round bad service.

Avoid if you can. Everything about this company simply sucks. Terrible customer support, they are always right and you are always wrong but only if you manage to get in contact with them at all. Their policy is if you don't like it we will take your money anyway and you feel free to find another. Receiver is the slowest worst piece of junk there is and it can sense that you just made a pizza and popcorn and won't turn on till you eat it. Just avoid...

English broadcasting for F1 please!
I only bought the subscription since Sky took over the broadcasting rights of Formula 1. I was really happy with F1 TV. But the level of broadcasting and commentators are so bad in Sky F1 Germany! So bland! They keep talking either about Sebastian Vettel, Mick Schumacher or Mercedes. I understand that the British commentators are biased towards their drivers too. But not to this extent. The commentary is honestly irritating to hear. They do not comment on what is going on at the moment, keep going off on tangents of their own. I request you to provide English broadcasting for F1 at least. I have already cancelled the subscription, but have to pay for it for a year anyways.

Sky TV: Lousy customer service
Lousy customer service, lousy website when it comes to support, lousy broadcasting quality ... A useless company once soccer games are broadcasted through other channels on Amazon, DAZN and others. Sky is above average when it comes to collect money - everything else is below average.

Very boring cable, nothing to see, you need to pay extra to watch any movie.

Just another German-based Service .. what do you expect ?
I have cancelled my subscription and yet they kept billing my account, although they confirmed the fact that they stopped my subscription when I called them and showed them the fact (email) .. they agreed that it was their mistake however I have still to pay.
They will literally play you to steal your money.
Avoid at all costs and save your money, time, and frustration from dealing with German customer service who does not have a basic understanding of how to deal with customers or people; it simply demonstrates their culture of being extremely rude and ignorant, which they bring to work and take out on you.

I took a mobile phone contract out with sky which is good nice and cheap. But my phone is broke and has to be fixed because sound is no good. Sky have left me with no mobile phone as they won't give me a temporary phone. I think this is terrible they are saying it is down to samsung because that's what my phone is. Iv got a lot of hospital stuff going on so need a phone. Iv had to borrow money to get a phone I can use with sky sim. I think this is bad as any other company would lend you a phone.
