Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 149 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People frequently complained about the high costs and poor overall value, feeling that sports subscriptions are entirely too expensive for the limited or frustrating service provided. Customers also expressed deep frustration with the commentators and pundits, describing them as repetitive, overly negative, and completely unhelpful during live broadcasts. Furthermore, many consumers experienced technical glitches, streaming failures, and poor camera work that ruined matches. Though some customers noted occasional positive aspects, mentioning that specific normal channels or certain featured commentators performed exceptionally well and brought quality analysis and insightful commentary to the screen.

Match camera work and studio stupidness.

The continual showing of players rather than watching the match, the stupidity of the studio presenters it's like a fashion show for trainers, and the fashion show for the presenters, absolute rubbish.

Make sure you watch with the sound off.

Adverts followed by repeats of earlier shots or, worse yesterday’s shots or worse still shots from years gone by. Very little live action and then more adds then more repeats of previous action. Then the same ads repeated. Then more repeats of earlier shots. Occasional indications of what will be show but which seem never to happen. More adds then more repeats.Dreadful commentators who are generally failed mediocre golf players who want to talk about themselves and each other or who they met 20 years ago. Whatever you do listen without the sound.

Sky sports rubbish

Sky sports have at least 7 channels . Tonight Bradford Bulls play Leeds Rhinos for the first time in over 10 years and they give the viewers a miserly 5 minutes pre match buildup behind the red button whilst having at least 3 of their front channels showing repeats . Utterly disgusting Sky......get a grip !! 😒

I watch both the ATP Tour and EPL

I watch both the ATP Tour and EPL via the Now App.
Just finished watching the Miami Open and because you have access to Sky Sports + you're able to select your match, and it's streamed without commentary or adverts. Brilliant.
As for the footy, well you just can't get away from some rather banal commentary with presenters who may not necessarily have even been involved with the game.

Gary Neville is painful to have in my ear

Please update your people. Gary Neville is clueless. Proved through his diabolical management of Salford, shameful ongoing winging about Man Utd, jealousy of ex players, basic tactic understanding proved through his zero win rate in Spain. I used to like sky sports but I’ll never subscribe again whilst Gary Neville is talking back at me.

Sky now have random strangers giving…

Sky now have random strangers giving their opinions on football. Most don't even sound like they're from the area the team plays

The funny thing is the company set up to funnel these guests on is owned by Neville and Michael McIntyre.

I pay £70 pm basically to watch F1 live. Today was the Australian GP. Started at 4am, so wanted to watch on catch up, as can't record anymore as it's internet .
I can watch quaili, press conference, post race interviews but not the bloody race.
Watching now on channel 4.
Thanks Sky. You jerks.

Pathetic company

Pathetic company, cutting streams at the most instense and informative moments, filming random people more than actual action on the track, overall Brits in the office love adds more than action. PATHETIC company

Sky Sports is very poor

Sky Sports boast all Rugby League is being covered, but in fact you have to pick and choose the games you want to watch, as most are on Sky Sports+ red button, and at the same time. There is no option to watch one later, or to record it. This is a complete con.

I have watched sky since it's inception…

I have watched sky since it's inception in 1995 when it was fantastic... however never in my life have I watched utterly ridiculous performances by so called "pundits".. I can just about live with the super sunday team but even that at times is painful... however your sky sports news programme is nothing short of cringeworthy with these again so called expert pundits... yes they may have been footballers (bang average)in their day but my god please don't insult my intelligence. World beater jay boothroyd.. on ref watch my god is horrific...or fan club show is absolutely horrendous viewing with again these so called guest superstar footballers of whom I can't remember half their names because they are so easily forgotten.... if they're true to their self's they are being paid money for robbing a living and I'm sure behind the scenes they'll be saying that also...you can see it in their faces they're embarrassed and have no shame about what they doing but selfish enough to take the pay day.

I've just cancelled my subscription after 16 years

They are more concerned with virtue signaling than showing sports.

I'm also tired of them trying to force WSL onto us all the time
I don't care about it. I don't know anyone that is interested in women's sports.

Good riddance
