Good customer service from Nick and Robert. They took a lot of time to work out my ticket with me and figure out some other options. I do think Cheap Vuelos site is very confusing and you need to read the fine print very carefully! but the customer service folks are very patient and clear.

SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!! If you unfortunately booked a reservation with them you will receive a fake flight ID Number. Then the calls start. They will hassle you to spend way more to book a different flight. They will tell you that you cannot bring luggage and that you need to upgrade the ticket. I had to freeze my card and report them. CALL THEM AND DEMAND THAT THEY CANCEL THE RESERVATION. What they are doing is illegal.

Quick and understanding cancellation process

The customer service rep Kiara and Felix were so very helpful with the cancelation process; due to the loss of my family member - they were very kind and offered sincere condolences. Their professionalism is very much appreciated and their promptness to take care of this for me was amazingly fast. Thank you both so much!

The agents Anderson and Alex were friendly and professional and helped patiently with the ticket booking. The website was not clear about the non flexible ticket and customers may not fully understand that dates are not confirmed when booking. This can be improved.

Yes, I was happy with Patricia's help. I did have difficulty with a supervisor previously while booking my flight which was very frustrating and made me feel that I should have booked directly with the airline. There was no discount with this company in comparison. Isn't that why you go to a booking company???

I would give this a 0 stars if I could. They operate a Bait and Switch system. It looks like you are getting a very cheap flight but what is not included is that they are selling you a sub-economy ticket. You cannot check into to your flight in any other method except being at the airport 6-7 hrs before your flight and you cannot pay to check a bag. *This is not written anywhere when you make your reservations. The company calls you shortly after you purchase your tickets and tells you all the restrictions (again not written anywhere) and then they try to upsell you flights more than double the price. They tell you that you agreed to it all simply by using their website and it's all non-refundable (which IS written on their site). Then they make you "final offers" and when you are fed up with all of this nonsense and keep refusing their offers they make it sound like your cancellation fees will come off their paycheque. Don't fall for this, there is a reason their flights are so cheap. Then they finally say they will allow you to cancel if you give them a 5-star review (explains why they have so many positive reviews). Don't fall for this. Go directly through the airlines and not Skytrend. Don't get scammed out of your money.

This was the absolute best experience with a travel company. I found info online at their site and had the option to call in. I spoke with Walter and he was FANTASTIC! He found me flight options that were better than anything I’d seen in 3 days of searching. It was amazing to be able to have a booking agent do the work for me and not have to do it all online myself. There is also a 24/7 support and help line I can call. All of the booking information was confirmed by email before I hung up the phone. Drake provided the ticketing confirmation and is going to be doing the 24 hour check in for me and providing me with the boarding passes through email at that time. This service is incredible. Myself and my husband highly recommend. A big thank you to Walter and Drake!

I just booked a flight for myself and my two daughters from Canada to Europe. The total price was very low — CAD 2,600. A few hours later I received a phone call telling me I had to add CAD 3,000 to confirm the booking; otherwise the only option would be to cancel the reservation and pay a CAD 149 cancellation fee per person. I did not accept the cancellation.
This is a classic bait-and-switch. They let you place the booking at a low price, then change the fare and force you to either pay a huge extra amount or accept a cancellation penalty. I will be filing a dispute with my bank’s chargeback team and reporting this case to consumer protection and fraud authorities.
Do not trust this website — they lure you with a low price, then hit you with unexpected charges. Protect yourself and do not book through them.
