After three years of kidding myself that the mattress I was sleeping on was sufficient, I decided the time had come to treat myself to something genuinely comfortable. With two kids under five, I've come to appreciate and need a good night's sleep! With the virus and kids, I really didn't want to visit bed shops, so I decided to see what was available to purchase online, with a home trial. Having slept on both spring and foam type mattresses before, I found the foam most comfortable. I'm also a believer in spending my hard earned money on quality products that last, so when I discovered Sleepbear, I decided to spend time reading the really detailed information and explanations on their website. I was also attracted by the latex foam, which I've heard really good things about and the fact that there are no fire retardant chemicals is a massive plus for me. Also, the mattress is not flattened, and rolled into a box, which in my mind has the potential to cause all sorts of issues. The Sleepbear team answered any questions I had promptly and efficiently and I never felt pressured to make a decision and buy. After not much deliberation, I decided to order a king size Sleepbear and am so happy that I did! The mattress is really supportive yet sumptuous at the same time. Bedtime is now even more exciting, knowing that when I climb into bed, the mattress will gently mold and support my tired body and soul with such a luxurious feel. Thank you for providing at least some consistency in my life Sleepbear!

Although I had to wait a little longer than usual for my Sleepbear mattress to be made and delivered, the team kept me well informed. On the day of delivery, the delivery guys kept me informed up to the point that they were ten minutes away. It was like having my own personal delivery people on the end of the phone. When they arrived they put face masks on and shoe protectors over their shoes. The two guys carried the mattress up to my bedroom and placed the mattress on my bed frame ready for me to make. What could be easier!

Ordering was simple and I had asked if we could have delivery ASAP and within day’s it arrived. In the “Coronavirus Lock down”, it was a relief that the two delivery guys arrived fully equipped in all of their PPE and they were just brilliant!

Worst mattress I've had very warm and like sleeping on a brick .not what they say in the ads.and at the price I'm more than dissatisfied.do not waste your money.

Great mattress. Super comfy and much better quality than similar such as Emma etc. Natural latex is hygienic and breathable.

To start with, their customer service is really great, delivery was seemless. so on this aspect, all great.

Then the mattress. I really wasnt impressed.

Good points, there was no chemical smell at all.

Bad points, the mattress was way firmer than expected, it was like sleeping on a brick, everything hurt! The mattress also left greasy stains on my sheets, the whole cover was slippery. Sleep bear said this was normal for latex and it seeped out natural oils (something neither dunlopillo or john ryan happened)
I gave it a month, then noted that it had softened, however, was now unbearable hot (it was -5 outside, the window was open, I was boiling) and the side had bulged out. I feel I had a faulty mattress and wanted to return it.
I metioned this to sleep bear, who had it collected and gave a fast refund. They did ignore the bit about the mattress being faulty, which I was surprised about.
Before the mattress went, I unzipped a potion of the cover, the latex surface was disintegrating and oily....
