We've ordered a number of aluminium windows, french doors and sliding doors from slide and fold for our renovation and have always been happy with the quality. After sales are also very helpful and provide an excellent service. Will definitely be ordering more.

Wow what an amazing company. They supplied me with exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it with no hassle at all. The quality is outstanding and the after sales care is second to none.
I have never fitted sliding doors before and the way these are built made fitted very simple and easy. The instructions were sent to me prior to the doors turning up and were very easy to follow.
I looked for hours locally to get bespoke doors only to be told “no they are not made like that” , I thought bespoke meant they were made how you want them ! Found Slide and Fold on Line and they made them exactly how I wanted them . I ordered them online which was very easy to do. Three weeks later they were delivered on a date convenient to me . I highly recommend this company..

From the streamline, online ordering system to the follow up customer care I've received, I have nothing but a rave review for the whole team at Slideandfold.
After I made my online order, the next day I requested a change to one window - that was done for me with no quibble (it was within the reasonable timescale and the windows hadn't been produced yet) but the email exchange was immediate and I felt like a valued customer from the get-go. A few days later I received a phone call from a chap in customer services who seemed sincerely genuine in his quest to ensure that they had all of the correct details. I had specifically chosen not to have a trickle vent on one window, but on all of the others - they wanted to check that it hadn't been an error on my part. Such diligence. I really appreciated that.
I then had clear instruction from the logistic team, giving me plenty of notice for my delivery and securing a day that was suitable. I had been expecting to wait a significant amount of time due to ordering over the NewYear period, but in fact the turn-around-time was swift.
On receipt of the delivery this morning - I was blow away by the considerate, amiable nature of the driver, Ken.
He kept me abreast of his journey and expected arrival time, and communicated clearly with me. When he arrived he was super friendly, and extremely helpful - he went above and beyond to ensure my windows and doors were carefully off loaded and stored properly. Having had a particularly difficult weekend, he really brightened up my Monday. Ken is a brilliant representative of the Slideandfold brand, and I just wish there were more people in this world like him.

Now, I haven't installed the windows yet so I can't comment on the final product - but they have been packaged with such care and clearly labelled, ensuring I have all of the necessary bits and pieces to complete the job. I am confident given the extraordinary level of service that I've had up until now, that if there was ever a problem, they'd jump at the chance to fix it.

£7,500 worth of windows and doors ordered. All arrived damaged; replacements also damaged with major scuffs and broken mechanisms. MD not interested and his only response was to send his team with a coloured pen to paint over the scuffs! Shocking to say the least. Luckily I paid on credit card but it took 18 months to recoup the costs. Shambles of a company!

In reply to your response: First, and foremost, my card issuer agreed with my claim and fully refunded the total invoice under the evidence provided under the Consumer Credit Act of 2015.

No damage was ever caused by myself moving items; the mechanism was damaged with no external marks on the frame so this could only have occurred at your end.

Your team came along with a paint pen to touch up the scuffs then told me to stand 6m away to see if it was still visible - which is comical in itself.

The remakes, as you call them, had more scuffs and marks than the originals and your offer of a 10% discount on the complete order to keep them was not accepted, hence matters were taken up with my card issuer.

What did I order: A single casement aluminium framed window.

Good bits: Speedy construction, good customer service, happy to hang on to my order for a few weeks as my builder was running late.

Average bits: While the double glazed window is a massive thermal upgrade over the old double glazed window, the frame does get a fair amount of condensation on cold days despite the room being a relatively low humidity room - bit disappointing. Instructions were adequate but not much effort had been put in to them.

Bad bits: half of the window keeps have been incorrectly installed so that the strikes miss the keeps by about 40mm when the window handle is closed. Not quite sure how they managed to mess this up, but seems to suggest lack of care and quality control. I haven't moaned as it's easy enough to fix myself although it will leave some unsightly holes.

Conclusion:
Not a terrible company, probably fine for the one-off windows in parts of the house you don't care about. I'd probably avoid for whole house replacements or any area your sensitive about quality.

The sales department could not have been more helpful in the design of our windows, the delivery date was respected, the build quality was excellent. When we lost some of the sealing rubbers and asked for replacements they were sent out the same day free of charge. What more do I need to say ?

Purchased a set of great value bi-fold doors which are now fitted and look terrific. Had a problem at the end with a missing part but speaking to Adam he sorted it out quickly. Thoroughly RECOMMEND

Absolutely superb company. We bought three sets of folding doors 12 years ago and all have been faultless other than a hinge which has just failed on one of the door sets. I spoke to Adam in the after-sales department and he could not have been more helpful. I had a replacement hinge delivered in the post within 48 hours with clear instructions on fitting it. Bearing in mind this was for a door set we bought over a decade ago I was stunned at the level of service that Adam provided. They are an absolutely superb company with extremely well made products and second to none customer service. The after sales back up that Adam and his team provide should be a lesson to a lot of other companies. Can't speak highly enough of them. Thanks for everything Adam

Our bifolds were fitted in 2017, they are well made and the integral blinds are often commented on by visitors. They look as good now as they did when fitted. The doors were adjusted just before the end of the fitting warranty (2019) and they still work brilliantly. Due to repeated use the draught excluding brushes have now come loose on the main opening door, I called the service helpline expecting to be able to purchase replacement brushes. The customer service I received was outstanding. Adam was super helpful and new brushes are now being sent (free of charge) -all I had to do was email a photo to ensure the right bits were sent. It is rare to find such good customer service-years after the original purchase. MANY thanks!

I cannot recommend this company enough. We bought some large, magnificent aluminium bi-fold doors in 2012 and have been very happy with them since they were installed. The reason for the review 10 years on is that I recently made contact with Slide and Fold for an issue with wear and tear where I was considering replacing 2 of the 4 doors due to a handle being damaged. The door in question gets a lot of heavy handed use and after 10 years has only just started to wear out. Speaking to Adam, he instantly realised our installer (not Slide and Fold) had installed 2 of the 'D handles' the wrong way around causing excess stress to the locking handles of the door in question. 10 years of the locking handles doing something they shouldn't have been and they have only just worn out!! Adam told us how the D handles should have been fitted, which I was easily able to do and also sent us a new handle to replace the broken one making the doors basically as good as new again! 10 years on, and the customer service was second to none! I am so pleased with our doors and the level of service from Slide and Fold. Lots of companies could learn a lesson from these guys!

Professional Staff and Excellent result.

Slide and Fold were recommended from a 3rd party professional installer. Therefore, in early 2020 I ordered bi-fold doors from Slide and Fold, which were then installed by the 3rd party installer.

My dealings with Slide and Fold were around delivery and checking details on the order. This was useful, as we were able to check that everything was correct before doors went into production. Updates on progress were given, including a delay in glass.

The end result was excellent, as we were able to have a smooth install, and the product improved insulation and the build quality is solid.

Due to this experience, in Sep 2020, I then ordered a second bi-fold for another part of the house resulting in a similar experience.

Slide and Fold have been amazing from delivery to after care / service. The doors arrived flat packed ready to assemble, this made delivery easier as we didn’t need machinery or lots of people to help manoeuvre the doors. Since then we had a problem a couple of problems which was quickly dealt with and sorted. I’m especially impressed with the after care / service, I spoke with Adam, he was so helpful and happy to listen and help fix the problem. I have and will continue to tell people my positive experience with Slide and Fold and if I’m in need of more doors, this is the first place I would go!
