Sliding Robes Direct Reviews 

I wasn't sure where or how to start planning this, as never had anything like sliding doors before. However this was sorted with a quick telephone call to Sliding Robes Direct & speaking to Darren who suggested a way forward. He then sent an e-mail showing these suggestions (from their Alpha range) & then posted a few colour samples of the wood & glass doors. Nothing was too much trouble. All they needed was the exact size of the opening of the alcove. Ordered one mirror door and two with Cashmere colour wood panels. I found Sliding Robes Direct very helpful (both Darren & Chris who patiently answered my questions over several telephone calls; they certainly know their wares!) - delivery was within a matter of weeks & I am so pleased with their product. My fitter was impressed with the items & we were both amazed at how smoothly the doors ran. They look superb & was a wonderful surprise for my wife who came home to see everything up & running. I have recommended Sliding Robes Direct to several of my friends & neighbours, who are thinking of building similar. I have no hesitation in recommending their products to anyone else, & certainly wouldn't hesitate in using Sliding Robes Direct again.

Ordered four mirrored doors with silver frame and two with panels. They are fitted now and look great! I found Sliding Robes Direct very helpful - delivery was within a matter of weeks, with a phone call beforehand to give me a more accurate time. I rang twice to ask questions and nothing was a problem. My fitter was impressed with the mechanisms and the soft close for free with this range is a lovely touch.

First time I have used them and found Darren and Chris were very efficient in their conducting of my recent order. The doors were delivered when they said they would and found the quality of the doors to be of a high standard. I definitely will use them again when my next sliding door job comes up.

I have purchased and had fitted the oak shaker doors, four in total, with the centre two mirrored. They are of superb quality, look very classy and have soft closures which work perfectly. Darren & his team were extremely helpful throughout. The product knowledge displayed was exceptional. I will definitely consider using them again for my guest room. Thank you!

Very bad customer service. They obviously do not know their products. They made a mistake and do not accept to acknowledge it, even though we have emails from them proving otherwise. Too bad for them as we planned to buy more items, but not from them.

Please be aware..
The company after a couple of years dealing with them have now shown their true colours, they will take your order and money and make make suggestions, then when a problem arises through their negligence, incompetence and rudeness, they refuse to solve..
I’m extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by Darren..
Please avoid soft close mechanism, they do not understand the product they will sell you!!

Excellent product, excellent price, excellent customer service. The sales team went above & beyond. All questions & queries answered very promptly to the point where minor alterations were changed for my benefit ...........................

Sliding robes direct have been amazing. I ordered three doors two in oak and one full mirror in oak frame. On ordering and paying for said doors I accidentally ordered a maple framed mirror door.
Thankfully Chris was on the case and quickly phoned me asking if this was a mistake. It was. Thanks Chris.
Delivery was on time and doors look awesome after fitted.

Easy to order on line. Delivery was on time scale given. All the items were well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Delivery was made into the house which was great.

Good company to deal with. I had a few technical questions before I ordered and they helped me to answer these. They also advised me about finish which saved me some money. Ordering process was straightforward and the products arrived on time, complete and undamaged. Overall very happy.

APPALLING - The telephone conversation I had with customer services was rude, condescending and very unhelpful. To be told my fitters "need to take a look at themselves" is not the information I was expecting. I was accused of abusing the person because everytime I tried to speak he would not let me finish and continually spoke over me even when requested not to. To not provide basic instructions and screws and pads when having spent a considerable amount is poor
I was very impressed with the delivery driver that he actually managed to get to us on the specified day even though it was very late - he delivered but as for the sales office !!!!!!!!!

Ordering of the standard doors went well and always does when a company is willing to take you money, I explained that we were out of country at the time of ordering so to contact us asap for delivery so we can arrange for someone to be there. After 12 days they had apparently tried to call my mobile but left no message. The delivery company as advertised is Sliding robes direct do not contact by email. Sliding robes direct advised "us" to contact the delivery company? As they don’t communicate with the delivery company, I had to contact the company and find out what’s happened to be told we have missed fortnightly delivery service to our area. The delivery to Scotland as always is slow and consolidated so almost a month now and we are still waiting, order placed 17th Sept today's date 14th Oct. Hence we will not waste our time with this company again.
