I had an amazing experience with this company! The customer service from Glen Chandler was top-notch, and the product exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality products and excellent service. Will defo use them again.

Dealt with Glen for about a year now as my account manager. Very knowledgable and on the ball when it comes to responding to emails and getting quotes back to me quickly.

Used them a few times now for various items from a lapcaddy to workplace safety equipment and have always found them to be efficient and reliable to use

As a Site Manager i have no issues at all with them
they are very helpful and polite every time i have spoken to them especially David and Tobias.
and i will continue to use them

Our first time dealing with Glen Chandler @ Slingsby, and i can definitely say that it was a very positive experience. After sending their quotation across, Glen got in touch and talked us through the allowances made and explained every step of the process, from design to completion of works on site.
Very happy with the high level of service we have received so far.

Had the pleasure to work with Glen Chandler on a few separate occasions over the last year and found him very knowledgeable and helpful each time to help me design our new work area. Nothing was a problem to him.

Slingsby have been a massive support with providing items we required. Easy to order, contact and have a speedy delivery service.

Terrible customer service. We tried to buy a maintenance contract for our £3k work positioner and all emails were ignored. When the substandard charger broke, the request for a replacment quote was also ignored.

This was our first order from Slingsby, and it arrived promptly. However, one of the components was missing. We contacted their customer service team, and Michelle from Slingsby was excellent in resolving the issue. The missing piece is already on its way.

After the initial phone call, all further communication was handled via email, which was seamless.

I've been using Slingsby for a while now, and they provide some great prices and items which we otherwise wouldn't be able to get. Their deliveries are prompt and if you do have an issue, it is easy to contact them. My only complaint is that you may be able to begin communication just fine, but you rarely get any updates or notices from them. For example, if an item is out of stock and you've ordered it, you will not find out unless you ask them. If they can state this on their website, or send an ETA with their order acknowledgement email, it would be helpful.

If you are thinking of wasting your time and money by purchasing from Slingsby than you will be just 1 more victim like myself and others

I bought a 2500kg pallet truck. The lads at work used it to move a generator weighing 1440kgs. Basically the arms on the back of the truck have twisted and sprained. The guys using the truck, have no need to lie. They know I'd stand on anyway.
I took the truck back to Slingsby's and having almost completed an investigation, they have said there will be no refund. What I'd like to know is, has anyone else had a similar problem. Personally I would of thought there would be a release valve or fail safe to prevent failure. I'm not one for kicking off about things.
A part refund would of been acceptable. Not particularly happy. I can't fault the attitude of the staff - just not happy with the end result.

As a business when you order something it because its required.
To then have to chase an order 4 times and then finally receive after 3 weeks is a tad excessive.
I'll certainly not use this company again.

I have used Slingsby for the 1st and last time. I was looking for recycling bins, did my research and found colours ones on their site. My local supermarket was selling for £10, but Slingsby had them for £7.19. Thought great, the picture showed the complete bin and was happy to order so did. To my horror they arrived but were just coloured lids. I checked on the site and yes they said lids BUT the picture was of a complete bin. Other sites show a lid picture or bin base picture, god knows why you would buy separately. I complained as Aldi were selling the same complete bin for £7.99 and asked them to standby their price match promise at least BUT no did not accept the picture error and still on website and not prepared to price match, or part refund. So just have lots of lids and no complete bin - very unhappy and useless customer service!!

Useless. Placed an order online with delivery within 3-5 days. It hasn't arrived after 7 days so called to chase it up. On hold to them now whilst they 'look into it' so thought I would check out the other reviews on here. Have now logged into my account where it says 'order cancelled'. Lady on the phone says it hasn't been cancelled. All I know is that they've got our money, we've got no order.

Ordered an item which was eligible for next day delivery, after 4 weeks waiting I was told it would be another 2 months before stock arrives... 2 months later I have had no item and no refund despite numerous times chasing it!

Avoid at all costs!!!

Great customer support, they are trying to resolve every issue.

I cannot understand why this Company is not highly rated. I have the highest praise for their excellent prices and service and would not hesitate to recommend them.
My experience with Slingsby has been very good and I rate them 1st class.

I placed my order on Wednesday this week and received my order the following day. This is the best and fastest delivery I have experienced in the last five weeks, and consider it excellent service given the current crisis situation.
