Hank loves his XL bed he finally has a bed he fits on and with extra room, he actually looks small laying on the bed. He’s a 67kg Dogue de Bordeaux for reference.

We seem to go through beds every couple of months, mostly because our two year old golden retriever tends to 'make his bed' at night and therefore rip the covers. Still wanting him to have the comfort and support a larger dog needs we opted for Slumberdown as a well established bed company. While initially the bed may seem a little more than you may pay for beds on other websites, the option to buy additional covers makes this a great choice if like us your dog has the habit of ripping his bed. We bought the XL for our boy and he immediately made himself at home by making his bed. It's well made and the fabric, I hope, will be a little more resilient but we do have a spare cover. It is heavy, so if you move your dogs bed at night to where they sleep, it's not easy. Time will tell if this bed survives but given we have been buying an entire new bed every couple of months and throwing away the old one, at lest if he rips this fabric, we can just replace that part. Great bed so far.

The dog bed is an excellent item. It has been accepted very readily by my aging dog who uses it a lot. I've tried many others over the years and with many dogs, this is by far the best I have found. With a removable cover and with spare covers available, I k now I have a product that will last. Thanks.
