Always use them to get watch batteries. Not much pricier than Amazon, often cheaper, and you know you are supporting a British business.

The Small Battery Company was able to supply a battery that was difficult to obtain . Price was good and included post and packing. Sent out quickly

Ordered, some legacy batteries, on the 30th July. Have not received them even though the order was acknowledged almost immediately and dispatch within 24 hrs was promised. I've tried to contact the team several time via email and telephone on several occasion and had no response. Email is not responded to even though they promise a 1 day response to email enquiries. Phone rings to dead tone.

The website maybe a bit dated and not the fastest to deliver, but if you want a reliable company for batteries at a good price I would recommend. Will use again!

Absolutely tremendous customer service. I ordered one battery (hardly their big order of the year!), which the Post Office seemed to have lost. I emailed Small Battery Co. and was amazed that they took the time to phone me to help resolve the problem. I will definitely be using them for future requirements and will be recommending them to others.

I ordered a battery adapter which was delivered the next day, very impressed. Upon opening, I realised I bought the wrong battery. I emailed and they was so lovely for me to send backs order and they will send me the correct one. Again this was sent extremely quickly. Can’t fault their service, will definitely see me again for (correct) battery orders.

I had a very good experience with the Small Battery Company and will definitely use them again. I wanted a replacement 3V battery for my Honeywell central heating programmer ST699. I needed a battery with tabs to solder on to the PCB as my unit's clock had intermittent faults and kept losing its time setting.

I placed the order via the webpage. It was a bit confusing because an email confirmation of the order was not received immediately but it did arrive later in the day. The new battery arrived by Royal Mail post 2 days later.

I am pleased with the battery. It's now soldered on and working well. It has saved me the cost of buying a new timer and also having to pay a gas engineer to change the boiler wiring plan for a new programmer. It is also good for the enivironment as I am able to re-use the existing clock instead of putting it in landfill.

I've been buying batteries from small battery co. for years, Never had a problem!

I ordered a battery for one of my older digital cameras.

I got an email saying it had been dispatched. This was over a week ago.

Amazingly, it has just been delivered by Evri, they did not state who was their carrier!

First order made with The Small Battery Company and would definitely recommend them! Ordered Friday, received Monday with no delivery charges. Excellent communication 👍

Ordered and payed for some watch batteries online, received an email confirming order and stating batteries would be dispatched within 24 hours.
A week later no batteries.
Phoned them and was told they hadn't been dispatched.
Promised to dispatch them that day
2 days later still no batteries .
Emailed them for a refund,
no reply.
3 weeks later, no reply, no refund and still no batteries.

First time using this company and will definitely recommend and use again, excellent service, emails to confirm order and to say my order had been dispatched and order arrived in 2 days

They don't answer emails about faulty goods. The age of the stock is dubious. Yes they are cheap. You get what you pay for.

Ordered 4 CR1220 batteries on Tuesday afternoon, they were delivered on Wednesday morning, excellent. They are good quality and a brand I know (Maxell), with a good expiry date 3 years into the future. Best part was the price of each item was far less than Am@z0n and H@lf0rds, both of whom were having a joke with their pricing and delivery charges.

(For context, my experience was during the COVID-19 pandemic)

I ordered an MR-9 Adapter plus some LR41 cells on Thursday morning and received them Saturday morning. Pricing was competitive, and items were sent Royal Mail 1st class at no extra cost.

Don’t be deterred by the “classic” styling of the website! It was easy to use, chock-full full of useful information and everything went smoothly and quickly. I’ll be buying all my small cells from these folks from now on.

I've been dealing with the Small Battery Company now for some years, and I have NEVER had a bad experience.
When I once mis-ordered the wrong batteries through my own stupidity, the matter was sorted out within a day, and it cost me nothing.
My orders are often with me within 1 or 2 days, the prices are spot on, and the service is great. The website may look dated, but it works better than many I've seen and offers excellent advice on alternatives, where necessary.
