SMART-I Reviews 

I bought this system from Ebay Oct 2020. An exterior siren box, two PIRs, two key fobs, two window/door sensors A Gateway device to control the alarm, smoke detector, 13amp plug al for £64.95.
Once charged and fitted none of it worked as it should have. Setting it up was a nightmare as for most of the items the Iphone app reported `no connection"....I eventually got the app to pair with the alarm box but then none of the detectors would activate it.
All in all an utter waste of time and money and it was all sent back for a refund.
I would have preferred to have given it no stars at all.

Save your money and buy a well known brand like Yale if buying from ebay or elsewhere.
Ive been informed by the company Smart-i that the system I bought was discontinued some time ago and therefore no warranty or technical assistance exists for it. This was not made clear in the ebay advert and the seller may have bought up old or defective stock. The information in the bosx stated to contact the company for assistance, giving their telephone number
My review is not meant to reflect on the real Smart-i company. They did not sell this system to me.

However I was a purchaser of a Smart-i system and it simply did not work anfd others have found the same.

Invested £600 on the complete kit for 6 months, persisted through its faults of faulty base station which needs rebooting and resetting every month. Cameras that over heat and needs resetting, bought micro sd cards for them to work, even though it didn't say that on the box. Final straw, had to replace the base station and that failed within 2 months. Worse of all, non existent support from Y3k. Complete waste of time and money.
