Simplify the single line diagrams and allow editing them easily and simply.

Every time I open a new office, the first thing I do is go to SmartDraw and lay out the whole plan. Then I can add or remove walls, measure for existing or to-be-purchased furniture, etc. It's actually a lot of fun, and when I hand the drawings to my landlord or construction manager, they are shocked that I have something so professional in such a short time! Love this program...

I've used versions of the software for over a decade. It is easy and intuitive to use. An overall excellent value the money, especially when it is time to renew to the new version. I started out using it to graphically document our network, process flow charts and org charts. Now I'm also using it to plan and document various setups for our modular conference rooms, office space planning, client dashboards, interactive maps, infographics, PowerPoint enhancements, mind maps and dynamic graphs. It is powerful and integrates well with PowerPoint, Excel and Visio. It is the right tool for many graphics, organizational and data presentation and other visualization jobs.

I use SmartDraw as a way of designing/explaining program and system architecture. I originally purchased it as a Viso replacement - and soon found it to be a better product (for what I am using it for). It is easy to use, very easy to adjust diagrams, etc..

I had never done CAD and needed to for a job and I was ecstatic! It is super user friendly and to top it off, the support team has been so helpful and nice. I definitely recommend it!

SmartDraw is not compatible with Mojave and Safari versions and they won't definitively tell you that but their rep makes you feel like it's just you and your Mac.

It is very easy to use and have all kind of necessary applications. No hidden or monthly-yearly payments I hope some day could be possible update for a 3D version. Thank you guys for your brilliant program.

I've had Smartdraw since 2013. If you asked me back then, I would've told you Smartdraw's the bomb but in 2019, it's old and trite and I barely use it. It's stuck in same boring 2d visuals while the rest of the world has moved to 3D and 3D rendering. I've asked when will they start making exciting 3D visuals but each update has the same outdated stuff ZZZZzzzzzzzz. Even Powerpoint has moved to loading in 3D images.

If the next update has the same boring 2 dimensional visuals, I'm done.

I was looking for a CAD program to do a floor plan of my home in order to locate interferences. SmartDraw provides much more in many disciplines. Like any new program, the operator has to be patient to learn to locate the commands. The layout in SmartDraw makes learning easy to do.

The second impressive feature of SmartDraw is support which is second to none. A person sending a question or request for help online expects to wait 1 to 2-business days. One to 2-minutes might be an exaggeration with SmartDraw, but in comparison to others, the response is lightning fast. The respondent give you his or her name. I like it.

I use SmartDraw to make layouts for designing laundry facilities and laundromats. With SmartDraw, I am able to create custom "shapes" that are the same dimensions as all of the different machines we use, as well as all ancillary equipment such as folding tables, chairs, laundry carts, etc. This way, I can input a customers dimensions for the area or building being used, and use my custom shapes to layout exactly where and how the machines will fit together. This, as opposed to manually drawing up layouts, decreases the amount of time it takes me to get a plan ready to present to a customer, as well as providing a more professional looking product.

Every time I use SmartDraw I learn a little bit more about how all of the features work, and it helps me create a better product for our customers

I purchased SmartDraw to draw residential electrical drawings. The application was easy to learn and I was creating documents within two hours. The technical library is very diverse. I don't get paid to draw but drawings are the first step in the planning process. I will be able to use this application for any technical discipline I encounter. Well worth the money.

The program has some minor glitches in the matrix but overall the best software I have found for ease and convenience. Easy to use right off the bat. Does not always save what you are working on and I wish it had a save button next to the "save as". Once you figure out how to work around that annoyance the program is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Its called SmartDraw and dang it if it isn't SMART!! I have needed a useable low cost program like this for years to layout 2D sketches and this is very intuitive and don't need to be a NASA Mars Voyager program coder to use it. Very happy and very well worth the fee and it is my new addition to my professional offerings. No more scale, pencil and pad!! Bravo SmartDraw!
