I have only just joined the company for training, i have been looking into this now for 3 years and found it impossible to brake into until now. Drive listened to my concerns as a single parent, finances and time limitations and literally made it easy for me to say yes, my dream is no looking like a reality.

The journey i have been on with Smart Drive has been very good so far. The course is professional and well set out. They make sure that you are ready before putting you onto the next step. I have just passed my part 2 adi and are looking forward to continouing my journey with them. Instrudtion/learning Videos are also very good and a lot of knowledge the instructors have and which they pass on.

Plenty of resources and if practiced enough- prepares you for the test thoroughly !

Amazing is the only word I can use for the amount of support I have had during this course. I had a lot go on with my health and they were so understanding giving me more time and no pressure to get the coursework done. I can not thank the team enough and if you are thinking of becoming a driving instructor this is who you should train with.

The training team are busy and cannot always accepting incoming calls but they always respond within the 48 hour SLA.
More call handlers would help but the service is good.

Very informative team, competitive prices and lots of support and guidance available. Webinar session extremely helpful.

Fast and concise reply

I signed up at the beginning of April 2025, and passed my Part 1 test today. Every question I have asked has been answered fully, and the course material is thorough and, in my opinion, comprehensive. My own driving skills have improved so much, and I feel so much more in control of myself and my car. Even better than that, I understand WHY the laws are what they are, and the various driving routines are so beneficial. I am looking forward to qualifying as an ADI with DRIVE.

I have registered with Smartdriving in 2024. Unfortunately last year has been a very tough one for me. I was suffering from anxiety and depression. But I didn’t give up on my dream to become a driving instructor. I am thankful to the team of Smartdriving, especially Adam who has been helping me in this journey. Smart driving has supported me through out my journey to become a ADI instructor, I recommend smart driving to anyone who is looking for a new career.
The staff members ( Angela and Jos ). at smart driving are very understanding and have been a great help to me.

I have chosen SmartDriving school to become ADI. I have done a lot of research before signing up with them. They have beaten the school package prices as well as Franchise package price and contract length.
I was a bit worried when I had to make a payment. However, instantly I received emails confirming my payment and further instructions to proceed with account creation on their website.
Website is easy to use.
Also, they were very quick with responding to my application. I have attended their webinar and people seem to be nice and helpful.
So far I am happy I have chosen them 😊

If you're thinking about becoming a driving instructor I would highly recommend smartdriving from day one they have been there for any kind of quires either on the phone or by email helping me every step of the way. Angela who I spoke to the other day was again like all the staff I have spoke to over the last couple of months was friendly and very responsive with the information I was seeking. 10 out 10 so far from me :)

All staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The course is great so far and easy to follow. I've just passed part 2 following great in car training with the instructor provided. On to part 3!

I spoke to Angela at training support at Smart driving today regarding my training ,I'm very happy with the outcome ,Angela was very supportive ,friendly and understanding .

What can I say, I've just had my last Part 3 in car training and it's just been so thorough, right from the start, when working towards getting the theory test passed. The amount of information, training materials and in car training I have received, has been absolutely brilliant as well as support from the DRIVE team whenever needed. There's been webinars to watch, re-capping of things other trainee instructors have struggled with and PDI Surgeries where we can ask for help from other PDI'S and the trainers or give advice on things we've found useful ourselves, even a FB page where we can get advice any time and I've never felt I'm doing this alone. Anyone not sure about going on the Trainee Licence, I would say you could learn so much more from that extra training, whilst earning, that will just mean you potentially get a better Part 3 pass but more importantly, are a great all round instructor for your pupils. People can pass the Part 3 without going on the Trainee Licence, but I wanted to be the best instructor I can be and this was the way to do it. Amazing company where you aren't just a number or another wad of cash, you ARE someone and you matter.

I finally got through and spoke with Jos who was exceptional helpful at advising, redirecting and supporting me on my query. The communication was positive, it eliminated the frustration of the long, none responsive wait to speak with someone, which was due to the busyness of the team. So all is forgiven 😊

Staff have been so accommodating! I have been unable to complete the course in the timeframe due to personal circumstances so I requested an extension. I spoke to Angela who was so understanding and helpful and she agreed to the extension. She put my mind at ease and I now have more time to complete my training.

Staff have been amazing and so helpful. Everything is easy access and couldn't be simpler. You just need to bring the hard work.
