Our internet search for a reputable agency to help us find a tenant for our rental property paid off. Right from the start, Mahi explained the process and provided the necessary information. We are impressed with Mahi’s professionalism and knowledge of the field. We relied on Mahi who helped us through the whole process from marketing, showing, and tenancy background checks to signing the lease. We benefited from his advice and suggestions that led to an excellent result. We are grateful to Mahi and his team, not only for helping us find a tenant, but for supporting us in the initial stage of getting the new tenant started too. We are thankful for a job well done and definitely don’t hesitate to recommend him.

An illegal busines openly operating in my rental property until I visited from interstate. Mahi refused to take responsibility and was ignorant of liability issues. His response was that staff members didn't tell him, not his fault! He didn't give adequate training and then was dismissive of my concerns. My experience is that he is unprofessional and dishonest. Perhaps he doesn't like female property owners questioning him?

Years of property management have been without fuss.
Always show due diligence vetting tenants and managing maintenance requirements.

I recently found and moved into a new home with the help of Mahi. The process was wonderful from start to finish. Before meeting Mahi, I'd looked at around 10-15 other places on my own and through other agents, but he was BY FAR the nicest, most personable, honest, and helpful real estate agent I worked with. I ended up applying for the first house he showed me -- it was perfect!

Mahi then lent his expertise in helping me complete a fairly demanding rental process, and was highly responsive and on top of things throughout. My time frame between giving notice on my old place and being approved for the new house was tight, but Mahi went above and beyond to calm my nerves and reassure me while avoiding any of the grandiose false promises that other agents are often tempted to make -- the end result was that I completely trusted him, and with good reason. Mahi was honest, professional, and did everything in his power to get a good deal for all involved.

I've tried to avoid writing reviews for agent in the past, but Mahi & team changed that for me. I'd fully recommend them to anyone and would happily use them again, though hopefully not anytime soon as I literally never want to leave this perfect home!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Mahi when planning our move from Melbourne to Perth for this summer. Mahi was gracious enough to take his time and show us several houses in our price range. We didn't end up needing his services as we found a place on our own, but I truly appreciated his patience and knowledge. Our agent Mahi Masud, has been engaged, informative, perceptive, patient, thorough, and personable. Mahi walked us through the entire process and was knowledgeable, perceptive, patient, and thorough. We were in great hands and and feel fortunate to have Mahi as our real estate agent.

I would like to thank the entire team but in particular Jane who was alway approachable with a lovely smile and made the transition pleasant and smooth. Always respectful and kind. Understood the others circumstances which it was the most important part for us. Definitely recommend them🙂

Mahi Masud is unprofessional, dishonest, incompetent and disrespectful. I have no respect for a real estate agent who behaves in the appalling way that Mahi does. Lies just roll off his tongue. He was deliberately obstructive when my daughter tried to gain access to a house she is buying. He eventually set a time and date for her to access the property and then phoned to change the time less than a hour before the scheduled meeting. My daughter tried to call back and explain she could not reschedule but he refused to answer her calls or text messages. Eventually we rang him from a different phone and he answered the call immediately. When he realised who was calling he told lie after lie and when he eventually turned up at the property he claimed to not have the keys. We were forced to wait an hour and a half to gain access to the property. If Mahi doesn’t ensure the pre-settlement inspection goes smoothly we will be reporting his behaviour to the Real Estate Licensing Board and the Department of Consumer Protection

Very Untrustworthy
Mahi especially doesnt like a female standing up for her rights as a tenant or in general id say ! Very sly . I recieved a summons in the mail 1 week after being informed by realestate that the court order had been cancelled therefore no longer have to attend court .Thinking there had been a mistake i rang the courts with that i then find out that they lied about cancelling the order enabling Mahi to deceiptfully go to court on his own in an attempt to get me evicted. I attended nxt hearing questioning why i was even there & gave all evidence the magistrate then ripped shreds into Mahi for deciept in continuing to court ,petty time wasting & lying 4 times to magistrate 🤣😂.
The property had existing Non compliant council orders & fines in place for a spa they used as advertising bluff.They started withdrawing money from my bank account without my authority during my tenancy . Don't notify you if not showing up for inspections & when they do show up take photos of personal property ! One of the many property managers I had named John went to the extent of turning off mains power to disable the house alarm before illegally entering the property without any notification at all then has the audacity to send me a breach notice due to my belongings being shrewn thoughout the house. formally knowing that I was vacating the property therefore I had been sorting through everything as packing into boxes.
I have been treated like an idiot & mislead since 2hrs after recieving keys to move into the rental property total disregard to my rights as a tenant .
Due to the acts they have commited as Agents & as a business that are highly illegal & severe breaches within the residential tenancy act I have commenced legal action against Smart Realty

So far so great. I've just hired smart realty but I have found Mahi very courteous and responsive. I look forward to many more years of great service from smart realty.

Having to deal with a few property management services along the way I am convinced that they are the BEST in Perth.
